(ANI) Transgenders across India celebrated the first anniversary of the Delhi High Court's decision of decriminalization of gay sex.

The transgenders in national capital New Delhi were very excited, but said that they should be accepted across the country.

"It is a cheering day. We cannot celebrate it with complete freedom. Only the people of Delhi accept us right now. We want that the entire country should accept us," said Manav.

I also wish they would stop linking TG to homosexuality. Not that I have any issue with homosexuality but they are not linked except in the minds of the ignorant.
