Shoe risers?

Here's the deal, I'm almost 5'5 and have considered getting shoe risers when I start to tansition. I was wondering if it's really obvious in public when you wear them? Even being just a couple inches taller would give me more confidence..

A lot of normal shoes and boots add an inch or two on their own.
Nero was the Forum Admin here at Susan's Place for several years up to the time of his death.

It depends on the shoes if its obvious or not.
