A TRANSSEXUAL has demanded an apology after she was ejected from a North pub for trying to use the ladies' toilets.

Shocked Amy Laverick, who has lived as a woman for a year, was enjoying a night out with a friend at the Dog and Parrot in Newcastle city centre.

But the celebrations turned sour when pub management took offence when she tried to join her pal in the female loos.
