The woman at the centre of a rape trial went voluntarily to a ->-bleeped-<-'s home wearing only a coat over her underwear after seeing the cross-dresser in a fight, a court heard yesterday.

Peter Steel, also known as Tanya, is on trial with former transsexual lover Clare Lawton accused of raping the woman in Cambridge after she saw them allegedly attack another man in a Waterbeach flat last August.

Steel told Cambridge Crown Court he went to speak to the occupier of the flat in Robson Court over a separate alleged

A transexual and ->-bleeped-<- who raped a woman face a significant jail sentence after a judge described their case as one of the worst he had seen.

On Friday (Jan 20), a jury of six men and six women found Clare Lawton, of Ditton Walk, Cambridge, and Peter Steel, of Sackville Close, Cambridge, guilty of rape, inflicting grievous bodily harm, burglary and unharmful wounding.
