nipples
October 14, 2013, 10:51:09 PM
So i had my surgery almost 3 weeks ago and one of my nipples is looking fresh and pink but the other is still quite dark around the areola. The actual nipple is pink, not as pink as my other one.
Should I be worried? My surgeon is on holiday until next month.

My understanding is that healing of these is harder than the incision, say, as these are skin grafts that have to completely take (which can take time) and completely heal. Takes time and patience.

I assumed as much but I thought I'd ask. I figured the colour in my nipple meant it was still alive.
Thanks for the responses.
