Going by old name (and new name)?

Hey I was wondering all, you think it's fine to go by your old name even if it doesn't quite add up because that's what everyone calls you? I might change but I am still the same.

If you want to . I mean I still have people call me by my old name Tristan. I just remind them that I'm a lady and should be treated as such. But I only remind them when they get all guy ish with me

Good for you for standing up for your identity. I met an MTF transexual who was still going by a typically male name. I'd be an FTM who would go by Allie. It doesn't really bother me all that much.
