"She will take to the court at Tarkanian Basketball Academy in Las Vegas Nevada this weekend as part of Team Canada.

"My goal would be, through my participation and visibility, that other Trans people especially Trans youth feel they are able to participate at any sport they choose and will be welcomed by their respective governing organizations. Governing organizations have an obligation to provide welcoming, safe, and inclusive environments for all athletes." said Burton."
