I had my first round of facial laser hair removal today :)

The treatment is similar to electrolysis and was the recommended option. Every shot (for lack of a better word) with the laser feels like hot a pinch on the skin.

It requires facial exfoliation the day before, and you're not allowed to shave or wear makeup on the day. Oh, walking through London at this stage in my transition without makeup on feels like I left my dress at home...but worth it, 7 to go.

@Anastasia:   A terrific first step in "permanent" hair removal.   In many areas the body electrolysis hair removal will involve some pain and discomfort.... BUT, there is an area that I had it done that was worse than getting a root canal at my dentist's office.
As they say... no pain, no gain.
I trust that all is OK with you and that the intial results are what you hoped for.
Thanks for posting your update.
Hugs, Danielle

Hi Anastasia,

Congratulations!  I bet that hurt, lol. It's not fun, I know, but my gosh, there is some satisfaction in getting one step closer to getting the nasty stubble of your face.

With kindness,

Terri
