Maid Marion

I went to a potluck today wearing a skort with printed roses. I forgot to bring something because it was in my other wallet and I switched because pocket issues.  The lady I was talking to told me she also  had pocket issues.  She was driving a tractor and her wallet slipped out of her skort pocket and partially melted because it got too close to the engine!

It was a great summer day in New England with temperatures in the low 80s!

I gave away a dozen plants, finding new homes for my peonies. I was able to dig them out with a drain spade and only broke one large root in half.  It helps that I have really good soil.

I talked about my new found confidence in cooking.  I'm now adapting recipes.  I brought Mochiko fried chicken.  Chicken thighs deep fried in coconut oil.  Chicken thighs are very tasty but the pieces are small.  Not a problem in a potluck where everyone wants small pieces for a taste.  I mentioned that next time I'd use Tamari instead of soy sauce to make the recipe gluten free.  Turns out that two relatives have Celiac and she also learned about using Tamari!  She told me her favorite foods she buys from a nearby Asian market.

That sounds yummy. I prefer chicken thighs over chicken breasts. I'm not a fan of white meat. Dark meat has more flavor and stays juicy. When I buy them at the grocery store, I can usually find a pack of eight large thighs. I'll happily pay extra to get the good stuff.

I have never tried Tamari. I don't like soy sauce, so I may give it a try!

I am a breast woman myself!  I like breasts.

Often though for chicken Teriyaki thighs are used.  Dark meat can for sure be juicy.

Always stay cheerful, be polite, kind, and understanding. Accepting yourself as the woman you are is very liberating.  Never underestimate the appreciation and respect of authenticity.  Help connect a person to someone that may be able to help that person.  Be brave, be strong.  A TRUE friend is a treasure.  Relationships are very important, people are important, and the sooner we all realize that the better off the world will be.  Try a little kindness.  Be generous with your time, energy, wisdom, and resources.   Inconvenience yourself to help someone.   I am a brown eyed, brown haired woman.

I am learning golf at an incredibly fast pace right now!
I'm able to work on several parts of my game at the same time and figure out how to play better in all of them!

It may help that my gender issues are behind me now. As well as other issues going into retirement.  So now I can focus on learning new things with my hobbies.

The popular investment strategy today is to pay taxes on tax deferred retirement accounts now by converting them over to Roth Accounts.
That assume your investments will do well.  What if they don't because some idiot is tanking the economy?
Keeping those taxes deferred as long as you can transfers some of that risk to to US government.
If my investments continue to do well  me and my brother have already found a charity to give it to when we pass.

If you are going to be out as a cross dress dresser or transgender person I think it is very helpful to dress well.  Not so much age appropriate as I don't think that  matters anymore.  But clothes that fit both your body shape and the occasion.  First impressions make a big difference.

It can be hard to find clothes that fit.  Amazon and other retailers have made it easier to find clothes  that fit. They have found that the best way to handle sizing information is to include it in the pictures.  When I first started looking for female clothes I'd go to Savers and try on anything that looked like it would fit, write down the labels, and search online to see where I could buy that brand.
I found Carol Hochman that way.  First thing I do is check the clearance section.  Why not try a sale item or two to see how it fits?  The Carol Hochman top I bought at Savers has tiny buttons.  They don't do that anymore.

It may help to read online fashion advice for the Inverted Triangle body shape if you are the typical cross dresser.  It took a ton of work with diet, exercise, and favorable genes that I have the coveted hourglass body shape. 24 inch waist and 34 inch hips.

It got up to 84 degrees today.  A summer-like day at the beginning of October!
I wore summer clothes to the garden club meeting today.  A Hello Kitty crop tank top and a skirt with horizontal stripes.  Wore my striped platform sandals.  I've been golfing so much that I may belly fat is gone.

No nail polish today,.  I decided my nails look good enough without polish and didn't want to be late to the meeting.

Fixed the power switch on an expensive box of electronics.
$25 for the switch and $8 shipping.  $2 for tariffs since the switch was made in Mexico.
Got it from Mouser Electronics.  Great place to get electronics parts.  They have an excellent online store that tells you what they have in stock.  They also ship quick.
The switch is expensive because it connects to the AC power, hold fuses, and allows switching between the 115 and 230 windings on the transformer.

Preparing for winter already.  Last week I cut the lawn to 3 inches and mowed the lawn to 2-1/2 yesterday.  Looks great with all the rain we just had.  Turned the heat back on in the house.

I played so much golf that my electric bill was just $43 in Connecticut, one of the most expensive places for electricity in the USA.

It is also Time to start winding down the golf season, now that temperatures in the morning are just above freezing.  I'm really pleased with how much my golf game has improved in just a few months!

Golf season is almost over in Connecticut.  The country club ends the season at the end of the month.
I got a received a lot of complements on my choice of clothing and how I look.
I wore tight fitting but not revealing clothing.  I wore knee length skorts.
The short skirts are for young women on dates and the cart girl who sells on course refreshments.
Florals and bright colors like florescent pinks.
I went to all natural nails, very clean and nicely shaped.
I opted for tan wearing a sleevless top at the beginning of the season, then covered up when I discovered long sleeve tops designed for wearing in the summer.  It was easier to get ready for golf when I just had to put sunscreen on my hands and legs.

All that walking on the golf course allows me to walk quickly on high heels.
I have a very thin waist now, below 24 inches, with a weight of 108lbs or 7-3/4 stones.
I think that looks very feminine according today's standards.  An hourglass figure with toned arms and legs that aren't excessively muscular.

Marion, I am so jealous. To be your size and walk comfortably in high heels! It must be great to be acknowledged at your club for your fashion style.
