We are having a two minute silence at work today.

I want to thank the American soliders "as if it wasn't for them then I would be speaking German by now".  ::)

Thanks to all soliders, you are and always will be remembered.

Thanks, Bella.  I loved it and hated it and wouldn't be the woman I am today without having done it.

Here's a picture of just another day at work:

Canadians saved your butt first. Lol, jk.

Happy REMEMBRANCE day.
Don't be scared to fly alone, find a path that is your own
Love will open every door it's in your hands, the world is yours
Don't hold back and always know, all the answers will unfold
What are you waiting for, spread your wings and soar

Thank you. I was in the army in the 1st Meddac Division, 1971-1974. Yesterday, I marched in the vets day parade. I was dressed and marched with the only GLBT veteans group in the parade. The spectators clapped, waved, cheered and said 'thank you'. It didn't matter to them who we are, they appreciated what we did. To me, that was very encouraging.

My time in the Marines was like someone else said here, the best mistake I would never repeat.

Hey your'e welcome kitties, and thanks for all those tax dollars for college!

Quotethe best mistake I would never repeat

I remember when I read that, it was like four (?) months ago in a discussion with Tekla and...er...that girl who joined the Army and posts from her cell phone. I'll try and find and quote it later tonight when I have more time because it's brilliant.

There are folks I call every year to wish them well  :)
The main things to remember in life are Love, Kindness, Understanding and Respect - Always make forward progress

Superficial fanny kissing friends are a dime a dozen, a TRUE FRIEND however is PRICELESS
