Do you enjoy eating Cornish Game hens?

These are not game birds, and they can be either male or female in the USA!

Always stay cheerful, be polite, kind, and understanding. Accepting yourself as the woman you are is very liberating.  Never underestimate the appreciation and respect of authenticity.  Help connect a person to someone that may be able to help that person.  Be brave, be strong.  A TRUE friend is a treasure.  Relationships are very important, people are important, and the sooner we all realize that the better off the world will be.  Try a little kindness.  Be generous with your time, energy, wisdom, and resources.   Inconvenience yourself to help someone.   I am a brown eyed, brown haired woman.

Almost every Thanksgiving.

I live alone, so it doesn't make sense for me to buy a turkey when most of it will go to waste. When the grocery stores are pushing turkeys, I search for the Cornish hens. They are usually marked down, so I can get them for a few dollars each. I buy four to six (whatever will fit in my freezer).

I have a small, slow cooker that is the perfect size for one hen. I stuff it, add some veggies like potatoes and carrots, and let it cook all day. By evening, the meat just falls off the bone. So yummy!
