What is your ideal living location?
Farm
Ranch
Sub burb
Town
Big City

Personally I'm a farm girl. Lime the animals, and space. Not as big as a ranch but big enough to spread out

Suburbs. I like to have shops, furry meets and such nearby. But I also like to be surrounded in greenery, fields and nature. I have that now.
Is it December yet?

Rural acreage / hobby farm.

We are on a suburban acreage now, and it is too busy for us, with not enough community.  We are moving to a slightly larger acreage, but away from towns.  We'll be on a quiet road with orchards and organic produce farms nearby.

I have lived in each of those, so I have some experience. I prefer small towns and even remote locations. I could become a hermit and be quite happy with that.

I have often envisioned my dream home as a small (not tiny) cabin on a heavily forested five-acre lot. Bonus points if it has a gold-bearing stream cutting through, so I don't have to travel far to do some gold panning. Room for a garden for fresh fruits and vegetables.

I don't care for cities or suburbs, but I like the availability of supplies and services that they provide. It's the noise, crime, and pollution that I don't like.

Country or coastal cottage for me, I can't be bothered with the work of a farm! I'd take the farmhouse though! I would like a bit of land for turning into gardens oh and some woodland too. We can dream..........

Dreams are free. Only because no one has figured out how to tax them. 🤣🤣

If we ever get rich my wife wants to buy up 3 to 4 homes along the dirt road we live on. Each arr about 5 to 7 acres. That would be come a full time job just taking care of the land and fences.
