Transitioning is unlikely to give me breasts due to too much age and too little body fat. Let's make that a given, please. 

I love the breast forms that I have. I can see a silhouette that looks like mine. The issue is minor I suppose: I can't show cleavage unless I accept that it will look very fake. 

I've heard there are breast forms with thin edges that adhere well and accept makeup, so I could show a little cleavage sometimes. Can anyone help me with this?

What I have done in the past is lay the forms sideways in the bra with the thinner edge toward your arm and the thicker part toward the breast. That pushes them together, so the cleavage is your skin, and the fullness of the form fills the rest of the cup for a full, rounded shape. That doesn't work as well if you have forms that are not teardrop-shaped.

Don't believe everything you read regarding boob growth Krista. There are plenty of women who get good growth in later life. I don't know how old you are but I started in my mid 40's and have got very good growth.

I'm not aware of any realistic breast forms that will give you what you are looking for unfortunately. Cleavage isn't everything though. There are plenty of smaller boobed stunners out there. Smaller boobs also means you can wear types of clothing that are off limits for those of us who are more generously proportioned! Plus you can be active without fear of giving yourself a black eye lol!

Google something along the lines of "transgender nubra cleavable" and you can find videos of perfecty flat chested people using the bra(s) and makeup to stunning effect. 🙂

You've touched on my blessing and curse. At 5' 9" and 142 pounds I can ROCK a dress. On a good day with my forms, I can feel like a model (from the neck down anyway) 

But my chest has virtually no flesh. What is there is closer to my armpits than the center of my chest. There is nothing of mine to push together without using a scalpel! 

I'll keep searching.

I'm 64 as of next week with NO chest flesh.  although there are outliers, my reading says A cups are most likely and it could take a couple of years. 

I can live with accepting my body as it is or I may start hormones for different reasons and see what happens. But right now, I'll keep searching for the holy grail of breast forms.

First, there are gals that start HRT later in life and still get good development.  Age, genetics, hormone regimen, nutrition and body type all play a part in physical development.  I started at 60 and now have a 38C/40B depending on bra brand.

There are some high-end silicone forms with thin edges that are makeup compatible.  Most have self-adhesive that works well inside of a bra.  If you want to go braless, you'll probably need silicone adhesive to keep them in place.  Telesis 8 is one of the best.  Blending the edges with makeup to create a seamless transition is a difficult art to master.

TBH, if I were still wearing forms and wanted realistic cleavage, I'd buy a high quality breast plate.  Cleavage is a given since it's one piece.  Going braless is a snap.  No adhesive is needed.  The edge can be hidden with a neckless or choker.  The biggest downside is they tend to be hot.

I've had some growth recently, and bought my first sports bra today. Wearing it, and going for a walk afterwards was an unbelievably validating, and comforting experience.
