The problem with these types of laws is that there is little to no legal need for such a definition.

I am old enough to remember when all legal texts used he/him, and it was declared or assumed that meant everyone, including she/her. Later, textbooks and other government documents added a disclaimer stating that the pronouns he or him equally applied to both males and females.

Within our own Declaration of Independence, it states that "..all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness."

Are we to assume that the U.S., N.Z., and similar countries are making this move to deny equal rights to everyone except "adult human biological males"?
