"Lately, I have been very appalled by the way the people who keep
vandalizing Queer Month banners in the Donovan Dining Center. I feel
that it is very selfish. Here is why I am not happy with the events
going on around campus: I was about sixteen years old when my half-
brother came out to my parents that he wanted to change who he was. He
wanted to get a sex change. This was a huge shock to me because it
came out of nowhere, but he was thinking about it for years."
