Thanks, everyone

I'm really happy too!  I know it's pretty amazing to be completely supported so I feel sooo lucky.  I would spread it around if I could.

Learn all those manly things for sure, but just be careful honey around the whole getting drunk culture, despite how supportive male friends can be, they are still men and I would just urge  caution.
Oh, don't worry, I only drink when my SO and usually my brother are around, and both parents are alcoholic so I'm very cautious not to drink more than once a month, I'm not about to start binging and blacking out o_o  My guy friends just mean I need to learn to not absolutely despise beer (they just tease me because my "man tutors" are not manly men at all)...  Which I don't think I fully agree with, it's not like I'm trying to look straight anyway.  I can keep drinking my mixed drinks, who cares

Plus I have seen how icky some men can be firsthand.  Thanks for the warning though, cuz if I didn't have those things in my mind I should, for my own safety.

Hey man, trade me parents PLEASE!!!
Heh, I dunno, I generally kind of like them, so...  Try getting your parents the book
The Riddle of Gender by Deborah Rudacille...  I've been talking that book up a lot, but I ordered it for both my parents after reading it.  It really does an excellent job explaining that we're not sick, we're perfectly normal with a few extra medical needs.  It's all sciency too so it covers all the hypotheses of the cause very thoroughly and is just plain awesome.  I was pissed when I went to my local library and found only 3 books on ->-bleeped-<- and transsexuality, but man, that one ended up being great
