OK so I was shooting my T ..... I hit a nerve, thought for a second about withdrawing and stabbing a different place, nah, pulled back a teeny bit and changed the angle, and avoided it, just a little twinge. So maybe you can steer around 'em lol.

I think the idea in pulling out and redoing it is that you create a path into the nerve from the needle, so even though the physical needle isn't in the nerve anymore the T can still get in the puncture and come in contact with the nerve.
I actually just hit a nerve on my own injection last week....not a pain I look forward to again, shot right down my leg and hurt so bad I could've cried.

Mmm, nerves... crunchy little things. The first injection I ever did I passed straight through one. Like an idiot, I just decided to keep the needle in and injected the T. My leg kept twitching of its own accord and only stopped when I removed the needle. So yeah... big fan of 'pull out and re-inject' here. It never occurred to me to try to 'steer around.'
