Emails to my account

I know this has been asked but can't locate it. I am getting emails to my account when things are posted. Can you please tell me how to turn this off, thought I had it figured out but I guess not.

You should have the settings on that page like below...

• Receive forum announcements and important notifications by email.
  [  ]Turn notification on when you post or reply to a topic.
  
• When sending notification of a reply to a topic, send the post in the email (but please don't reply to these emails.)

I am getting emails about every thread I replied to and that automated subscribtion to the forum threads is very very very annoying because I can deactivate it...
