3D balls on reelmagik?

I like men, so the length thing in that respect isn't a problem. But yeah, since what I'll need it for will be mostly passing, I'm leaning strongly towards the 4.5 with the rod. And yes, they did say on the reelmagik site that the rod can alter the shape and size of the 4.5, and make it a bit more firm, so what you get with the rod may well be closer to 5", which is perfectly acceptable for sex I should think.

5" would be perfect, I'm hopeing the added rod will push it closer to that size. My friend wants something that can comfortably pack and also likes men and is a bottom so doesn't necessarily need a lot down there, what we are looking for is realism. something that's realistic to my friends body size. so I hope its closer to 5" That's the size we attempted to get from lolajake but their dimensions are just off among other problems.

An average sized penis that will also pack nicely, about 5"-5.5", with working STP, + a rod, that glues on instead of a harness, and as realistic looking as reelmagik. is that so much to ask???  maybe someday.

until then I think the 4.5" will be pretty good.

First Finn you are one badass friend for sure.

I'm hoping that when the tyron 3 comes out its more like what you just said. The 2 looked good just no stp which is what they are working on now. Granted the price is way more but for something so real I'll gladly pay it.

I'd also like to see some real pics of the reelmagik not just the youtube from them.

My guess on why they make them flat, just based on my limited knowledge of manufacturing:

A flat back design allows them to make the packer with an open mold. They just literally pour the material into the mold, it cools, they dump it back out, it's ready to ship.

3d balls would require a closed mold. Closed molds are much more expensive to make and to work with - they come in 2 pieces, and for each packer you have to close it, seal it, fill it, open it, remove the packer, and close it again. Then the packer that comes out has a seam which has to be removed, probably by hand since the material is so soft. It's a much more involved process that adds significant expense.

The thing I don't like about the 6" is that it seems to be really thick.

But the thing I don't like about the 4.5" one is that, from the pictures at least, it looks like a lot of space is missing hair before the penis starts.

Hey emil...ok, I took some pics of the back of the balls.  You can see they arent completely 3D, but they arent just flat on back either.  The flat part on the side is to glue it to the thigh i think...fir additional support, but i never needed to.

Finn...I actually have given reviews of the REELMAGIK prosthetics on some other threads, but I will say again that they are the most realistic ones on the market, waaayyyy better than Lola jake and like real.  Some have commented that they are a little high priced, but there's no way...some of the options out there are at $1000 or more and don't look nearly as good as REELMAGIK... I  think they top ftm prosthetics in realism, and price.  They work great, and have lasted me over a year so far with no problems.  Not to mention that they actually feel like a real penis.  The skin kinda pulls like real foreskin, and the balls actually feel like they are floating in the sack...you can move them around.  No other prosthetic has felt this real to me. 

My only complaint is that they don't offer STP ones yet.  I really hope they come out with them soon...I'd buy one in a heartbeat, and I've read that many others would too.  The peecock products are an option, but they look so unrealistic.  If I'm gonna whip it out in the bathroom I want it to look real, and the peecocks don't at all.  Just my opinion.

I actually think the balls don't look too suspiciously fake from the back...i mean unless i'd bend over and someone looked real closely..
I'm also amazed by the flexibility of the prosthetic, i didn't expect you could twist it like that,,,nice.
But wow....the pubes are....looooong....i think i'll have to trim those

the balls are 3d. so they look real. the tab is glued to the mons pubis. and the balls are "free"

I'll try to post some more pics when I get a chance...I'm going away for a week...so I won't have a chance to do it until I get back.  Seems like they keep removing my pics from photo bucket though...have to find some other place to add them.  The color I chose for mine was the M6.

The guy that did the review on YouTube was pretty accurate though...the balls are more 3D than most packers, and from the front and side they do look real.  Considering there are actually testicles floating in there, it is way more realistic than most.

One thing I have read quite a few times on these threads is regarding the shape/look of the REELMAGIK prosthetic, which was really funny to me.  Quite a few guys have mentioned that they don't look right, that the shape is wrong, or that they are ugly.  Have you guys actually looked at photos of actually penises?  Every penis is a different shape, a different size, and a different color.  Most of them are not very attractive...some are really purple in color, some are long and skinny, some are short and fat, some are thicker at the base and some are larger at the head, some are really saggy and wrinkly, and most are veiny.  I'm not embarrassed to say that I did a lot of research and looked at a lot of penises in my time, simply because I really wanted one.  I think that most transguys think penises should look like dildos...which they almost never do.  Dildos and packers are a dumbed-down version of what a penis shape is, and it's usually the most perfect shape you could think of, and a very flat color.  Again, take a look at real penises...good closeup shots of them...they aren't pretty...lol.  If you are only looking at porn star pics, then you are seeing the very best looking penises, trust me.  Look for some real photos...do a google search and you will see what I mean.

also totally agree about how reelmagik look like an actual penis. i'm a cisguy, penises are NOT pretty, ya kno how vaginas are not all that pretty. dicks really aren't either. when erect they definitely look "better" i guess but they r kinda gross like all genitals. pornstars have the best looking for obvious reasons and again penises are generally better looking erect and i think most people who don't have one only ever see them erect for the most part. if your going for realism then its not gonna be this perfectly shaped immaculately colored thing.

that was my biggest problem with other packers, they looked like dildos not dicks.

i agree with what everyone said that penises come in all shapes and sizes and generally aren't pretty. yet i can see where people are coming from -- judging solely from the pictures the "skin" structure of the reelmagik prosthetic looks super-realistic, but not so much for an 18-year-old guy.
but i prefer a dick that looks ten years older than the rest of my body over a dick that looks like a piece of  rubber any time.

I'm in my early 20's and so is my friend i bought one for. I don't think the reelmagik look too "aged", maybe a little in the close up shots. Also male skin isn't usually as soft and smooth etc... as female skin. kinda like how female hair tends to be softer and male hair a bit more coarse. I'm talking in general of course and if your on T and they have the option of picking out the right skin color it'd probly match fine. Also I've seen cis guys whos dicks look a bit different from the rest of them, sometimes slightly darker that kind of thing, not always but it happens sometimes.

but like you said, i'd rather have real looking skin over rubber looking plastic even if its a bit wrinkly and worn

Hey guys,

You asked for some more pics, so I took a few of my 6" without hair.  I also finally got my 4.5" prosthetic delivered yesterday!  So happy, so I took a few pics of that one too!  It looks amazing and feels so freaking real...I love it.  I got mine with the flex rod (you know, just in case...lol).  It looks and hangs just like a flaccid penis, until you bend it upward if you wanna get busy...haven't actually tested that part yet, but it seems like it'll work fine.  I got this one with the hair, and I have to say I am really happy with it.  The hair is heavier towards the top, and kinda thins towards the penis...there are actually single hairs that are growing out of this thing...really cool.  I originally got the 6" and 8" without hair, and ended up getting another 6" with the hair and really liked it, so I decided to get the 4.5" with hair too.  It's not too heavy, and is actually a lot lighter than the others.  The balls kinda swing if you move them, a nice touch  Haven't used it too much yet, so not much else to say about it.  Anyhow, here's the pics I promised:

Also, since you have one without the hair - is it easy to tell that the prosthetic is glued on? I'm guessing the hair would help a lot even if the skin tones don't match 100%, right?

Wow, thanks so much for the pics Dantheman, they look amazing! And I'm surprised, the 4.5" really does look like it's uncut with the skin pulled back! And thanks heaps for pointing out the little things, like the balls swinging a little bit, it's things like that that really make me want to buy one right now!

When you've worn it a couple of times will you give us some feedback? I'm really keen to know if you like it as much as the larger models.

Edit: Just a quick note guys, does anyone know if this adhesive would work as well as the one you can buy from Reelmagik?

If so it would definitely be cheaper to buy it this way, and it comes in a spray can so it should be easier to apply. Apparently it's used a lot for glueing breastforms on and can hold those for days, but as these are heavier I'm unsure if it would do as good a job. Maybe I'll pop over to the ladies section and ask if anyone has experience with it.
