I remember watching the DIC and Cloverway dubs back on YTV in 1996 through to 2000. I have all those episodes on DVD as well.
My sister was into it, and while I tried to show interest in more "boys" shows like Spider-Man or X-Men, I always felt more like I would want to be friends with Serena and the other Scouts if they were real. My favorite character was Mina, and I think that even now, getting my hair color changed to honey blond and wearing scrunchies (especially pink and white scrunchies) is because I always liked how Mina in the show had a giant red bow in her hair and she had that really yellow blond hair. I've been on the lookout for a big red bow to wear in my hair, however, with my hair being very fine, I also have the issue of finding one that will stay in and not fall out.
Back in 2014 I bought the Viz Media dub on Blu-ray of the whole series as well, so I can watch it whenever (and it's interesting how Sailor Stars has transgender characters). Unfortunately, Toei wouldn't get the original film out and do a rescan in HD of the 16mm masters used for the episodes (the movies, Toei did rescan, so those are in 1080p from film---unfortunately they are soft matted to 16:9. It would've been nice if they had included at 1080p the 4:3 open matte versions).
I also got the Viz Media Sailor Moon Crystal Blu-Rays in 2014 and I'm still waiting for the Blu-Rays of the last four movies to be released (I'm not paying Netflix for the poor video and audio quality that they offer in comparison to Blu-ray).
And right now I'm just on my second watch through of the live-action Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon series. It's too bad that Kodansha or Naoko Takeuchi never did a manga continuation of the live-action series. Or even maybe explored the 30th century world of Sailor Moon.
I do have the 2011 Kodansha English translations of both the Sailor Moon and Sailor V manga's, but I haven't read them yet.
