Appearancewise I'm pretty lackluster.  But I'm not intrigued very much.   I used to go all out when I was trying to get my husband to go out on a date with me and I got an incredible amount of attention from other men,  (just not from him! ;()  But then once we started dating I got to settle down and be me again.  I like being cosy and plain,  mostly because i don't like attention from others.  I used to LOVE getting attention when I was younger because I was a nerd in school and never got attention

But then when I became a hag I had a ton of fun.  It was only fun because none of the guys were ever trying to pick me up.

I admire beautiful women who get attention.  But I don't want to be one.  I have other things I think are much more interesting.  I'm a brain, I admit it.  I like learning and reading etc.

So to me it's always been a bit strange to see other women talk about looking good as if it is the pinnacle of being a great women.  Most of the great women I admire in my life are beautiful to me because of their confidence, energy and intelligence.   Beauty for me,  hinges on that.
