Sinthetics: More Hard/Soft Packer Options (in a very unlikely place)

I think people have purchased, at least in a few cases.  They just haven't received anything yet.  I don't think it's anything shady, but rather the company having some production issues.  I was reading up on a doll forum how there are only like, sixpeople  on the production team, and how only a few of those have long-term experience.  Also, apparently only one guy can do the intense custom sculpting and painting.  And then the roof of their production space collapsed.  And some staff members had to take off on sick leave...all around the same time "we" started looking into their packers.  As packers aren't their primary market, I imagine the doll orders would take precedence, especially if they're behind.  It's just poor timing.

Hey guys, so it looks like a realistic cock from Sinthetics with now run you about $400 dollars.  I understand how intense the process of making and coloring these custom products is, but damn.  I really really wish there was at least one option open to us that was under $300 bucks.  $200 was a great price; $250 even.  But $400?  Plus a 6 month wait?  Emisil or Real Magik.  For sure.

I personally have talked with bronwen about sinthetics and their tg products. Before they literally made like no dollars off of these prosthetics. Once they saw that they had a market for them, they had to increase the price in order to make a profit and be able to keep offering these products and looking into other models, including a realistic functioning stp model. They normally do not have such a long wait, it is only a 3-4 week wait on average. They expect to be finished with their backlog around the beginning of fall. Previously they had expected it to be finished around this time but they have been working without alot of their staff on and off because during this time of year  many of the staff people take time off. Leaving them to work at partial capabilities.

Their cup backed prosthetic has also been labeled as able to use medical adhesive with it.

When they do get caught up on their order log i will be doing a giveaway for one of their prostethics. Of course after doing a full review of its apperances and feels. Though i will not be testing this product for use as it is strictly a giveaway.

I did not know a lot of this, and it does change my mind about a few things.  Though I still wish we had some lower priced options.  And for now at this higher price point, if looking for a dual-density packer I would still go with something that will a. ship faster, b. has realistic testicles as a flaccid option, and c. has better color stability (will link to the post about this from Our Doll Community; the site is down atm). 

Though I should clarify that I wouldn't ever totally write off Sinthetics. I LOVE their flaccid sculpt as well as their uncircumcised options.  And I think the single density is still absolutely worth the money, especially considering the custom color option.  I don't think you can get a quality, custom-colored silicone packer at that price anywhere else. 

I am worried about the "feel," though.  I've spoken with the one guy on Tumblr who has a set of these products, and he compared the soft packer to the sailor and the Bella (harder than the Sailor, squishier than the Bella).  I assume that would put it in Mr. Right territory?  I like my packers way softer than that.  Though perhaps that's something one could ask about when ordering.  I love the new page and can't wait to hear about their new products.   I just don't think I'll be shelling out $400 until their STP comes out.

Yes, I understand what you mean about the comparison.  It IS a stretch.  Which is why I only compare on the basis of this one factor; I wouldn't compare, for example, surface texture, coloring or sculpt detail (though I do believe that the Mr. Limpy, though cheap, has exceptional detail...but that's another story).  Squishiness, though? I just...don't know of any other way of gauging what I'm buying beforehand.  The softness/squishability factor is a major thing for me, and I'm tired of buying cocks that aren't comfortable (physically and emotionally).  It's frustrating.

You have to register in order to see the pictures (maybe I can upload them later), but the basic point is that the color wore off in various places with "vigorous amorous attention" and the material tore in a few key spots.  It's not too bad; the customer was able to fix everything with a few tips from the folks at Sinthetics and he lists his steps and materials in the thread.  This might also be a good way to color one's silicone packer. I've got the materials and found some FX resources that rec a similar method, I just haven't gotten around to testing it out.  On a side note, I wonder why the color came off in the first place.  Not trying to dis the product, just curious for my own recoloring efforts. I've never heard of the color coming off of an RM product, for example; not sure about Emisil.  I have been meaning to ask them (RM) more about their color process and what they use.  Maybe that will shed some light on it.  Also, perhaps now that Sinthetics is branching into trans* products, they will alter their method and make their color more durable?

Though who knows exactly what "vigorous attention" entailed...you can't bullet proof these things, I guess.

I posted on the other thread, but I just wanted to say, it's been nine months and I still not have received my erect model. Have also dealt with some very rude emails. Not happy.

Just a review of the Sinthetics flaccid packer:

I'm sold!  Is silicone, but the texture of a Mr. Limpy (which I love!).  Amazingly realistic color (I got the Chai as my real dick is darker than my skin tone) with realistic veins.  I got the uncut one as my real dick is uncut.  Looks real, feels real, squishes like real, nice balls, nice size (5"), no odor.

I will likely spring for an erect one soon.  Best packer I have owned.  Worth the price if you can swing it.  Now I can feel confident when packing, that if someone by chance catches a glimpse of my dick it won't be bubble gum pink!

As mentioned in previous reviews I've done of other packers/prosthetics, I have a texture issue and I hate things that are too hard, plastic-y, rubbery, soft packers that are fixed, etc.  This is perfect!  Well, it would be more perfect if I could permanently affix it to my body and pee through it.  It possibly could be modified to make an STP, but I'd be nervous just in case I'd ruin it because of the price.

I appreciate the review.  I have always liked the look of this packer.  As I recall, the turn off for me was the weight.  I can't remember what it was now, but I remember I wrote the owner and it crossed over my comfort line.  Mr. Limpy has ruined me!
