Just being was enough to make me happy today. Even doing mundane housework couldn't bring me down.   I just can't believe the difference between me now and me two years ago when I started hitting rock bottom.

In the morning, I will finally be legally female and my old name will be officially retired forever.

I can't believe "he" will be gone forevermore.  Goodbye, my depressed, miserable, fake guy self.   Hello, happy Jill.

Now that I'm essentially out the other side, what shall I do next?  I feel so envigorated and excited that the next chapter of my life is about to begin, but all I can see now are blank pages.

Hugs to all,
Jill

That is great Jill congrats I bet you are over the moon, I can't wait until I can get to that stage.

LOL... On the way home from my endo appointment yesterday the shuttle driver kept talking about the actress Teri Garr from the Mel Brooks films, particularly the Young Frankenstein movie - But neither of us could remember the actresses name right away so she looked it up on her smart phone

I like the Mel Brooks films but was wondering why she kept bringing it up - Finally she said that I reminded her of the actress and showed me the picture... "See?"

That was a new one on me, but I'll take it

Terri Garr was always a doll face and from what little I have seen of your face on the few photos you have posted I think your shuttle driver is very perceptive and probably right on, you do resemble her quite a bit.

Well, my name wasn't Jack, but hey, who cares anymore?  I'm Jill now and I have the papers to prove it.

Someone at school today asked if I've lost weight. I've been trying to, but I haven't noticed if I have or not because I don't own a scale. Now my first thing on the list for my next paycheck is a scale. I have to see this!

Today in the mail I recieved a new dress, charger, and weird al album of which I bought online. I snaped beans from the garden while watching Fairy Tale episodes 5-8. I enjoyed that, and despite work being really boring due to new people, and I had to just watch them most the time, I was still very happy.

Well, my booby's have had several growth spurts lately, and as of today I'm no longer an A cup, my booby's fit nicely into this cute 32B I have. My other B's fit nicely as well. This is way sooner than I ever expected. They can slow down now, lol! But I'm a happy happy girl!!

Getting to go out to town, bought myself some stuff, and, one of which was the starter deck my Dad refused to buy me because he's too dam..dang religious. (I was going to pay him back once I got home so he'd only be lending me the money at the time) I hardly ask him to buy me anything that I want so now I bought with my own money right then and there what he refused to buy me, take that! HAHAHAHAHA! Whose laughing now?

I also bought my neighbor who gave me the ride to town some fast food for her & her husband, that made me happy. They've been real kind to me and are trying even if they aren't supportive for the most part. (They're at least not calling me by my BN & male pronouns for the most part)

Now I am real tired from the trip thanks to the med I've been taking as well as the injury I'm still recovering from.. zzzz

I bought my own car yesterday. :) between gas, payments, and insurance it will cost me 600 a month. Obviously that takes a big chunk out of my budget, but if I am vigilant about picking up weekend shifts and an extra night shift each week, I will be able to drive and save for surgery still. I feel like this will be worth it because sometimes it feels like the 4 hours I spend on the bus every day is killing me more than working a lot of hours. In fact, I am certain the commute is the biggest contributor to my exhaustion.

I can't drive it yet, I have to practice and take the test still, but yay.

Not so much as the "I can't stand taking the bus any longer because one day I will get sick of our crappy transit system and jump in front of said bus" mode lol.

It's a beauty Shan, not a BMW or anything but it is mine! I'll email you a pic.
