Good luck Bandors! I hope you nail it and your parents can stick their hurtful comments!

I don't know if I mentioned it on the public forums, about disclosing - but she actually thought I was MTF. o.O I didn't comment on that, I just said "No, I'm no longer female." lol

If I ever have kids (which I won't), I'd read them the book "So Many Cats" at night.  As a cat lover, I love that book and remember reading it in the library at school.

I'm thinking about the shoes I wore in high school.  I was wearing the same shoes there as I did in middle school.  They had holes in them and when it rained, my socks got wet.  Kids made fun of me at school.  It's not like we were too poor to afford me new shoes.  On the contrary, I had a new pair, but rarely wore them.  I sold them last year for $10 actually.  Anyways, my mom would also offer to get me new shoes (and clothes), but I declined.  However, the one time I did want shoes, she never got them for me, lol.  I wanted a pair of Vans.

The shoes I wear at work now have holes in them.  I need to switch over to my regular shoes that I usually wear when I can find the missing one.

I want to buy a studded belt from Spencer's but I'm not paying $20 for it right now since I don't need one that bad.

I'm starting to get used to my job.  I do want a job with higher pay in the future, but for now, this will do.  In my downtime, I play my PSP or GBA.  Today I watched "Cowboy Bebop: The Movie" on my PSP and Viva La Bam.  I also played Tekken.  When the book I ordered comes in the mail, I'm primarily going to read it on the bus and at the job. When I'm on break, sometimes I go in the bouncy house and either just lay down or jump if there isn't anyone in.  My coworker does it too.  She's a big child like me.

There is a King Endymion keychain that I want on Ebay, but for 8.95 no thank you.

I want a Red Velvet brownie and Cheesecake brownie for the cookie shop in the mall, but they are like $2.69 each.  I'm not quite sure if that's wise spending, especially considering that I'm trying to save for top surgery.  It would be hilarious if I paid in change though.  I'm going to have to treat myself one day though and get both of them, but at that price, I can just get some Chinese or Japanese in the mall.  I really want to get some Japanese food just to be served by a lady I sort of have a crush on there.  The way she just looks around and stretches her arm to give out free samples of chicken makes me want to buy some.  The Japanese food is a bit more expensive, but being served by that lady would be totally worth it....I hope.  Meh, even if I decided to put aside 5-8 bucks to spend leisurely, I'm not too sure if I would buy food when I just eat at home.  I feel like I would get more out of my money if I spend it on more tangible items.

I brought a book recently about ftm lower surgery and compared prices from Amazon and Ebay.  I decided to buy from Amazon because it was .91 cents cheaper and I can put that towards another purchase, in this case would be headphones because the right ear piece of mine is going out.  I'm glad I can put that .91 cents towards that.

Malachite, I need your discipline.

King Malachite

No you don't, as I find my discipline slowly getting weaker as I am increasingly becoming addicted to online shopping.   :D

Haha!  To be honest, if I had my debit card/cash on me, I would have actually got that and the cheesecake brownie.  The only reason I didn't was because I left it at home.  I only brought $1 because my mom says I always need to bring money with me and having that dollar there made me feel less guilty.

I've been leaving my card at home too. Today it was nice though, I had a gift card for Tim Hortons left over from Christmas. I had a long morning and not a lot of breakfast so I stopped at Timmys and got a really great frozen lemonade with the card. Didn't cost me anything and I enjoyed it a lot more because I didn't stop for a whole meal, it was like this special little treat.

That lemonade is delicious. Now I want some.

I watched Hellraiser 1 and 2 with my friend last night. They were alright and I enjoyed watching them, but I had trouble seeing how Pinhead and the other Cenobites were the villains. Frank was more like the main villain in the first one and that doctor was more like the main villain in the second.
We also talked for hours after. Every time we get together, we end up talking for hours and have to cut ourselves off. Both of us find it really easy to talk to each other about a variety of subjects. Maybe because both of us talk incessantly. Here is the difference between talking with other friends and talking with him:
Me: Do you like monster movies?
This friend: I love monster movies! Have you ever seen this movie? It's a....
Me: Do you like monster movies?
Another friend: Meh.
One I can work with to continue the conversation. The other shuts it right down.

Yeah, I never had it before, I was pleasantly surprised.

My schedule is filling up so fast. o.O Training for two jobs, 24 hours of actual shifts next week, and I still have to make time with my supervisor to wrap up my thesis.

My dad made me so mad yesterday. He's been weird about my jobs and up until this I ignored it. He goes "guess you won't get to talk to [Rainbow Brite] at all anymore. HAHA. Oh well, he will adjust." I lost it at him and said "why do you keep calling her a he? You never knew her as a guy. You have NO excuse." And he goes "uh, well, when I was told she was transgender I can't get the idea out of my head."

First of all I don't know what the hell his beef is with me talking to her. This isn't the first time he's brought up my talking to her. I am 25 and I have always shown EXTREMELY good judgment in my choice of friends. Second of all, I'm sick of my family* being jerks about the transgender thing and pretending that it's so goddamn hard. They've had years to get used to the idea of transgender people, they should be so far past the point of misgendering anyone. Let alone someone I care about.

If it comes to it, and they meet her and treat her with disrespect, they're going to find out very quickly this is a hill I will die on.

*Edit: well, my dad and my grandpa. No one else misgenders her and everyone has gotten better with my pronouns so I shouldn't lump them all in one category.
