Yesterday's happy: Having a couple of really good, old friends over for dinner.
Yesterday's unhappy: They now live far from here so we don't get to see each other very often.

Today's happy: Seeing all these lovely ladies of all ages in their summer outfits.
Today's unhappy: Realizing that I will never get to that state of femininity.
(Not GD-painfully unhappy, just a smallish sting that came and went :) ).
All the world's a stage, and all the men and women merely players.
To thine own self be true.
Out to self since March 5, 2026. My wife knows it all since June 23.
Integration ongoing. I'll cross the transition bridge when I get to it.

Awww those photos are always awful for some reason. My passport one i look scary! I still need to put my driving licence in my name lol. Still deadname!

I had to use the UK dot gov app to take a photo for my biometrics. At one point during the picture taking it showed what I assume was the features that the facial recognition systems look for. For that one brief second I looked like a photocopy of a cave drawing of a skeleton of a zombie doing a mud mask facial treatment. Then it just took a terrible picture of the actual me. Couldn't really tell them apart. 😂

Lipstick completes the look.  It is my favorite cosmetic.

Always stay cheerful, be polite, kind, and understanding. Accepting yourself as the woman you are is very liberating.  Never underestimate the appreciation and respect of authenticity.  Help connect a person to someone that may be able to help that person.  Be brave, be strong.  A TRUE friend is a treasure.  Relationships are very important, people are important, and the sooner we all realize that the better off the world will be.  Try a little kindness.  Be generous with your time, energy, wisdom, and resources.   Inconvenience yourself to help someone.   I am a brown eyed, brown haired woman.

We went to the Shuttleworth air show yesterday. 🙂

The DH88 crashed and flipped on landing. 😭

The pilot is okay.

Oh no, that's a beautiful aircraft. Is it totalled? Glad the pilots ok at least.

That looks like the brakes just locked up. Any idea if the pilot is okay?
