Great news, and I am totally jealous.

Thank you for the updates, Saha.

We all know the surgeries are now pretty routine and safe, but still there is that "heart in the throat" worry when someone we know is in the OR.

I'm glad to read Kendra is in recovery now.

Heal quickly and be well, Kendra!

Hi Saha;
Thanks for keeping us all informed. I have been thinking about Kendra all the last 24 hours. Today in Victoria Australia as Robin Williams said in Good Morning Vietnam...its going to be HOT DAMN HOT... . That is we are expecting 42C thats 107.6F at midday; so I will be in my pool with a glass of New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc (but wearing a hat)

PS I am so glad everything is going well.

Pls give her my best wishes!

  Yes, definitely JOY!  I know that smile from three months ago.

We should start an album of post-GCS selfies. I bet they all have something in common. [emoji848]

Congratulations, girl!  You made it, totally affirming!

Geez Kendra, I was asleep at the wheel with Laurie. I missed this entire thread, waiting anxiously for others to update me on how you are. I'm glad the surgery went well. That smile on your face says a lot. Congratulations on this momentous occasion. I wish you a speedy recovery.

Oh cool! A Borg implant on your finger! You have been assimilated.  Resistant is futile.

I'm with the others on missing this thread. The title led me to believe it was about whether the DR was worth going to, not an actual progress thread.

I read each post in turn and I am so happy for you. My eyes are all out of focus for some reason.
I left the door open, only a few came through. such is my life.

I thought you were having GCS not a light up finger! Did I miss something? I think being upside down all the time has got me seeing red.

A light in your finger is pretty cool though. Where do the batteries go?

The light-up finger is a nice touch. I hear all the girls are doing it now, although I can think of more useful places to have a light installed...
