Pong. Bwahahahahaha  Hey, I'm old. I used to play a lot. But my son at seven told me Nintendo was his life. Shortly thereafter I started losing a lot. It gets frustrating losing to a nine year old.

The Need For Speed franchise. Not sure which I played the most, but it would be either Carbon, Underground 2, or the original Most Wanted.

The music in those earlier NFS games are  big part of the soundtrack to my life.

Borderlands 2.  Offbeat, some of the wittiest and most hilarious dialogue ever to get put into a video game, and plenty of action.

WoW. I played it every waken hour from Vanilla to BC. I stayed up at nights raiding villages and castles, working daytime, taking care of kids. Learned my kids to play it. They played with me and learned the ethics of online gaming. That is a good thing. None of them are bullies.

But I was addicted. I still pay for my account. But I have not the guts to play much. I'm a person with an addiction brain. If I get stuck again I will neglect everything else.

When I play and feel the addiction cravings coming I stop. It's painful. But it is worse to give in.

I have also played and payed for SWTOR. Pretty much the same free world gameplay as WoW but StarWars.

Oh yeah, that's still going ain't it. I used to play as a Night Elf hunter and had a pet hyena in Darkspear. Didn't raid or do group sessions in the instances much though, my mates weren't too reliable, a few LEEEEEROOOOY JENKINSES in there

Everquest and Everquest 2. Between them there is no telling how many years I wasted. I had 13 year veteran status last time I played EQ2. After EQ was a first person shooter called Delta Force which came out in 1998. There were several titles. I played all of them. The last title Joint Ops was exclusive online and multiplayer. My brother lived in Texas back then, I lived in NC. We would play just to hang out. Played that alone on and off for 4 or so years.

Currently it has been Fallout 4. 800 hours or so at the moment... Would have been more today but the latest update screwed up my play time. I decided to switch from NMM to Vortex for a mod manager, ran the converter, updated all my mods and the Looksmenu caused my new game to freeze. Guess I'll have to wait a few more days while modded fix the rushed updates.

In my lifetime, Star Wars Galaxies.
I find it hard to sit and play 1 game for a long period of time now. But my go to's are Warframe, Path of Exile, Rocket League and Elite Dangerous. I play racing sims as well (I have all the gear for flight and driving simulators).

Oh goodness, uh. Well, franchise-wise, definitely the Sims. I started playing Sims 2 when I was ten or so and I've put countless hours into 2, 3, and 4 since. Same with Minecraft and Spore; no idea how many hours I've played, but I've owned them for 8+ and 10+ years, respectively.

According to Steam, my most-played games are: Binding of Isaac/Rebirth (500 hours between both games), Don't Starve (120 hours), Skyrim (106 hours), Stardew Valley (104 hours), and Terraria (82 hours).

When kids were smaller found the only true multi-player strategy game, where knowledge & co-operation between operators was essential for everyone's survival, was TOONTOWN as "childish" as that sounds! There were no "resets" you simply did not go into a particular battle if you didn't think the other players were up to the task! Friends lists, experience assessment and real-time communication was key!



By popular demand the now free, "rewritten" game is quite identical to the paid Disney original.

The most time spent and fun I had was "the real-time game" of reading, decripting and modifying satellite TV's video signal became quite adept at it was a honorary contributing member on many a "dark web" forum.

That's what I was forgetting! I played Toontown every day for years as a kid, mostly because my mother loved it, too. When the annual membership kept going up, despite the gameplay updates stagnating, we let ours lapse and moved on to FreeRealms instead; I have my fingers crossed for a successful FreeRealms revival, but Toontown Rewritten scratches the nostalgia itch just as well.

You know, I never realized how popular this thread got  Well, at least it is probably the popular thread I made. Anyway! I,d definitely say my most played game at this point is World of Warcraft. It was just simply too addicting to stay away. Plus I had someone to play with! 

Think Hearthstone might have taken Company of Heroes spot at this point. Cant...stop...playing...halp  Really enjoy the game but it can be bad for your mental health

Company of Heroes 2 (135 hours played) That is what steam says anyways.

However, that is not my most played game. Here is the real list with no numbers to back it up, but I know for a fact that these are the most played for me.

1. World of Warcraft

From the age of 13 -15 I spent every waking hour playing WoW. I have never been addicted to a game this badly before, and hopefully I never will again.

2. Halo Reach

I actually had a real life friend during this time, and we would hang out at my house and play Halo Reach like no tomorrow. Plus, I was just addicted to Halo at this time. Unfortunately he stopped speaking to me for no reason and I never heard from him again...

3. StarCraft

From the age of 10 - 12 I spent most of my time playing StarCraft, and it was thanks to all the cool custom maps you could play with people online.

4. Spyro Year of the Dragon & Ripto's Rage

I love, love, love Spyro and I used to play it a ton along with Banjo Kazooie when I was younger then 10. To this day I will still replay the games. Also, A remaster is coming this year so booo ya!

5. Sarges Heroes and the Army Men Franchise in general

These games were my first addiction to video games. I loved playing with those plastic toy army men when I was a kid, so it is not a surprise that I would fall in love with these games.

Halo Reach is genuinely my favourite game...I'm a massive Halo fan and I've put so many hours into that online and the campaign it's ridiculous

Other than the Halos - the Yakuza games I constantly play

Just started The Witcher 3 for the 20th time...I still enjoy just riding off into the countryside and playing Gwent in taverns
