Happy belated birthday, Nikki!

2026 has started quite well for me. Much better than I imagined. We'll see where it goes from here, but the beginning is beautiful.

The UK government has actually got something right. I thought I'd need to go through the hassle of getting a solicitor at big expense to change my name on the land registry for my house. This is normally required to change this in most circumstances.

Turns out there is a special route for trans people that avoids the cost and hassle so it's more discreet. It's just a simple form with my deed poll. That's it 🙂
People tell me I'm successful, kind, amazing, I talk sense and got it all together.  Only some see the real tenuous paper thin foundation behind it. The terrified child protecting herself. But I'm strong. I'm gonna be better. I'm gonna start doing life for me. Not what I think others want me to be. Love Charlotte 😻

Gosh we are up to nine days for the new year already.

I hope they have been nice days for you.

Always stay cheerful, be polite, kind, and understanding. Accepting yourself as the woman you are is very liberating.  Never underestimate the appreciation and respect of authenticity.  Help connect a person to someone that may be able to help that person.  Be brave, be strong.  A TRUE friend is a treasure.  Relationships are very important, people are important, and the sooner we all realize that the better off the world will be.  Try a little kindness.  Be generous with your time, energy, wisdom, and resources.   Inconvenience yourself to help someone.   I am a brown eyed, brown haired woman.

My jeans are loose now to the point if I do NOT wear a belt they will fall down.
I wish my hips were wider so they would catch the jeans from falling, not much difference there.

So my waist is slightly smaller and although my hips do not appear to be any different, there is a slight more difference between them, so it is an itzy bitzy more curve.

Yay!

I just ordered a new unisex perfume. Gotta pick it up tomorrow. I've worn myself out on my favorite girly perfume.

I was on my way from an extra-long electrolysis session. I haven't shaved in three days to prepare for the session. I had my hair pulled back so it is away from my face. No makeup. Baseball cap, jeans, and T-shirt.

It is an hour drive back from Colorado Springs, and it was getting late, so I decided to pop in to Little Caesars a couple of blocks from my house and grab a pizza for dinner. I am usually in and out of there in a matter of minutes.

I slung my purse over my shoulder and stepped inside. The man at the counter said, "Yes, ma'am. How can I help you?" I ordered my pizza, and he "ma'amed" me three more times and wished me a good evening.  I said, "You just gave me one, thanks!"

Despite my appearance, he got it right. I wish everyone could make that little effort.

I awoke this morning wearing my floral nightgown and thinking that I am a lucky woman.
I hope your day is wonderful.

New bras. Though the first thing I  do on getting home is getting it off and putting in the washing!

It is nice to have a door held open for you.

Question. Are you supposed to wash the bras in the wash regularly? I'd been tossing sport bras in dryer with some downy sheets for freshness.

I use the gentle cycle in the washer for my bras.  I air dry my bras.

If you use the dryer, the bras would likely may not last as long as air drying them.

As ChrissyRyan mentioned, I also wash my underwear including my Bra on the "Gentle cycle" and then air dry them.

.... and YES, Bras, just as with panties, need to be washed because of tight contact with your skin... (sweat, body order, etc)

The heat in the Dryer can negatively affect Spandex.    Air Dry only
(Leggings and other form fitting apparel, tops and skinny jeans included)

I'm happy to be home after a trip to Dallas. I went to see if I can upgrade my cochlear implant processors and what's up with my older ones that can't use disposable batteries. 2 are under warranties and will get replacement.I'll also be getting a Sonnet 3 processor for the left ear.

  @Hinoiri
Dear Hinoiri:
This certainly sounds like good news for you...
Question: Is the Sonnet 3 processor different, and why? ...
...and I am curious, just for your Left Ear?
                    Why not for both?

Thank you for posting your happy news.
