        UPDATE:  Saturday afternoon February 21, 2026

Regarding my dad, He is home from the hospital and it appears the problem was a TIA ...
A Transient Ischemic Attack (TIA), or "mini-stroke," which is a temporary blockage of
blood flow to the brain causing stroke-like symptoms that typically last a few minutes
to an hour, rarely up to 24 hours. It is a medical emergency and a critical warning
sign for a potential, major stroke.  The doctor  put him on blood thinners and a few
other meds.... 
My mom seems to be talking to me now when I called her and she told me that she
appreciated my calling and expressing concerns.
 
I am going to wait another day and then try calling my dad.  I will also make plans
with my mom's friend that called me about my  dad being in the hospital... and we will
plan a time that with her phone that I can Facetime with my parents.... soon I hope.
I will try to keep my Blog thread updated.

Oh, thank goodness. A TIA isn't "good" by any means, but it's preferable to a lot of other possibilities. I'm glad he's home and that you're communicating with your mother about it. The blood thinners should help.

UPDATE:  March 16, 2026 
            I am waiting for Winter to be over but it is still going strong. 
                 The Temperature right now is minus -21 deg (f) = [ -30 C ]
           Tomorrow the Temperature is taking a big dip to a bone chilling
           minus -35 deg (f) = [-37 C] which can be "normal" in this time of year.

The USA Income Tax Deadline is April 15th so things are getting wild busy at my
office.  Busy, busy, busy... keeping my TWO part timers working every day
and keeping me busy with 12+ hour days, 7 days a week for another month.

We had a light dusting of snow the other day. 77F here tomorrow, and we will break 80 by Wednesday. I am beginning to like winter in Colorado.

I felt cold yesterday at 11C but it was damp with a chill wind, it never feels warm in my workshop but it might do by tomorrow as its forecast to be 18C and sunny. Warm over the weekend as well.

-35 That's crazy. Stay safe girl. We have spring in full force, here in WV. 70-80's most days. Flowers are blooming. Now last night it dropped to 22 and snowed 4 inches. After reading your post, I won't be complaining!
