Made some leak and chicken soup for tonight and tomorrow, home made stock, a leak, carrot and 3 small chicken breasts. I bought a chocolate coated marble cake as it was reduced, cut the choc off and chopped it up to make a trifle base. Tin of fruit cocktail in next a then a pint of jelly (jello For you over the pond) ,when its set it will be topped with custard. No cream but I might have some sprinkles to go on.

We have been trying to get her to write a recipe book that covers tasty recipes and automobile restoration techniques.

How about "A Welder's Guide to Cooking."?  I see a S'mores and Creme Brule recipe opportunity not to mention a braised lamb one...

I made a small salmon en cruet and with the left over pastry made sausage rolls from the chipolatas mum got, all sat in fridge ready for tomorrow. Pigs in blankets next and a quick tidy up before the marathon cooking starts tomorrow!
A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS to all, hope you have a great oneXXXX

Always stay cheerful, be polite, kind, and understanding. Accepting yourself as the woman you are is very liberating.  Never underestimate the appreciation and respect of authenticity.  Help connect a person to someone that may be able to help that person.  Be brave, be strong.  A TRUE friend is a treasure.  Relationships are very important, people are important, and the sooner we all realize that the better off the world will be.  Try a little kindness.  Be generous with your time, energy, wisdom, and resources.   Inconvenience yourself to help someone.   I am a brown eyed, brown haired woman.

Well after yesterdays very busy morning cooking today I am already bored (9.20am!) I still have cleaning and sorting to do from yesterday. Left over turkey will be made into a Jalfrezi so that will give me something to do. If my workshop was next to my house I would be out there welding!!
To much food yesterday and lots left over, big chunk of Stilton and crackers, Christmas pudding and custard, trifle, cake and mince pies as well as a box of choc biscuits and choc covered almond sponge hearts. What I needed for Christmas was a tread mill!! Left over veg will make a bubble and squeak, for those that don't know what that is its the veg mashed up and made into a "cake" in a frying pan.

I went down the workshop Sat and finished welding the one section then ground the welds down, yesterday my weak wrist was so bad I could hardly hold a cup of drink. Yup holding the grinder for ages over did it. Still not 100% this morning so staying home again. Now being a Trexie and not having a pay to view channel I thought I would never get to watch Strange New Worlds but found out it was on ITVX so binge watched 6 episodes .
Too much food, cheese and crackers, cake ,biscuits and sweets not doing my weight any good. Sister gave me 4 small cheeses ,good job they are wax sealed and have best before dates up till June.

Hope your wrist gets better for you soon! Grinders definitely push some vibrations through your hand. Sounds like you had a nice chill day though instead. Those wax cheeses are normally nice - I like the ones with onion or chives in.

Keep strong.  Supposedly, about 80% give up on their next year resolutions by February of the next year.
