My friends popped over to drop off the green tomatoes so I will be making chutney, Celena was amazed at how much I had done to the Herferod. Electrician coming today to fit my new bedroom heater so its a home day, good as I need to do lots of house keeping. Change bed, wash towels and clothes, cook a fish curry and do the chutney as well as a good tidy up. Stiff today after yesterdays 2hrs grinding down the weld around rear window, I had to buy some ear plugs as using the edge of a 1mm slitting disc makes a lot of vibration. Good job there is the agri merchants just over the road. Its a nice day with a foggy start, I would rather be down the workshop than at home today as its wet tomorrow.

Now I am miffed , electrician turned up at 2.30 and I said you dont have a new heater. No I have come to see whats wrong with it, useless agents as I told them it was broken and needed replacing. Now I will have to wait in another day for them to fit one. Grrrrrrr.
 On the plus side I changed my bed sheets (overdue!) ,put some washing on and made the tomato chutney. Fish is marinating ready to cook. I find no matter how I do it the sugar in the chutney always catches in bottom of pan so hope there is no burnt taste to it. 2kg of toms made 4 good size jars full.
