Cheers my dear, well today I am cooking dinner this morning as have the dentist later at 3.20. That will be "fun" driving at that time as its school pickup, will have to go at 2.50 as I live on School lane!
If I make a traditional lamb curry it has to marinade for a good hour in yogurt and spices and that is about 15 to 20mins prep time first peeling garlic (something I find tedious) and grating ginger. Just onions left to chop after that so no to bad.
4 days not doing much physical activity not helping the diet but its warmer from today so hope to work some off next week, if it goes to plan I have a lot off metal shaping (bashing!) to do.

D was busy so I lifted the centre section of front panel work by myself, managed to get a hand to lift it later. Now I know I did it as arms hurt and back tight.
Had a hot shower and washed my hair, that made me feel better!

Recovered this morning, a good nights sleep works wonders! Weather perking up a bit, patchy cloud at the moment. Back to some fabrication/welding this morning, I have to work out a design for the flip front frame and order some tubing as well as a sheet of steel.
Calling in on mum, her car passed inspection so no repair work needed from me. Soon be time to sort some of her garden, lots of good compost/manure needs digging into where the runner beans will be planted.

Yes! Garden time is fast approaching - even if it doesn't feel like it. I, too, need to prepare the beds. I'm just waiting for temperatures above 4C (40F) and even better if it's not raining. But that's unlikely here.

Where do you get your compost/manure, and how much do you use?

Garden centre, think it will need 6 bags just for the beans. Mum has some leaks planted but they are like spring onions and not growing, its rained every day so far this year and today was the first dry day (might rain later!!) so its going to take a dry week before we can stand on the veg patch

Marathon welding job done, I was so looking forward to welding the rear window frame to rear deck (not!) and all the finish grinding that was needed. Got my sheet of steel so I can get on making boot floor and stuff.
Made pasta for dinner yesterday using some tomato pasta sauce I made and froze, 2 sausages cooked in air fryer ,broccoli and green beans in the steamer and some twisty pasta cooked. Stuck it all in the frying pan and reheated it, enough left for tonight as well.
Foggy this morning but its supposed to clear and sunshine later, up to 15C again.

Thursday food shop again, I will get a whole chicken and cut it up to make a curry. That is saving money as it should last me a week! Need loads of bits though, onions, tomatoes, beans ,bananas and apples.
Need some dry sand as well so I can bend a tube without it kinking, hope the homeware store has some sharps sand. Cloudy and breezy this morning but still mild. Forgot to wash my work gear yesterday so put it on this morning so hope its dry for Fri, tumble drying at the moment and hope its finished and hung up before I go out.

My garden is buried under a foot of snow.  Typically the ground isn't workable until April.
Snow is good because it prevents damage from the cold, keeping the temperature of buried plants around freezing or Zero Celsius.

Unless the snow melts into thick sheets of ice that can damage rose canes.  Sometimes it does that.

I was falling asleep watching Y tube so thought that will be good I will crash out tonight, tossed and turned for an hour first! Brain got busy when I lay down and then I woke for a bladder break about 4am and had trouble getting to sleep as hot and itchy! Brain still buzzing this morning so going to make the most of it and work some stuff out on the Herferod!!
Had some spinach to use up so made "spicy tomatoes and chick peas" from one of my books, that was a quick and easy one. Only prep was chopping an onion and grating 3 tomatoes ,ginger and garlic paste helped.Spinach went in the pan to wilt at the end.

Rest day again, my back was giving me grief after stooping to work in the rear. Its that angle that always plays me up and 10 or so hours over 3 days has put a knot in a muscle that even cream and pain killers did not shift, sofa day then!

Pills seem to take an age to work sometimes and when in pain that wait is tough.

For migraines now I end up taking 1200-1600mg ibuprofen in one go to shift them,  or it doesn't work. They do mess with your insides though. Hopefully you'll not need so many

I could take 3x 400mg a day so 1200mg but are you taking a whole days dosage at once?

There's nothing worse than having a migraine and discovering you have no ibuprofen left. It's worse for me because there is a pharmaceutical factory directly opposite which makes, you guessed it, ibuprofen. Torture!

Is there a link between migraines and HRT I wonder? I never used to get them much at all when T fuelled.

Oh my you were tortured by an ibuprofen factory! That's pretty tragic 😥

Yeah always taken at once these days! Unfortunately my throat goes very tight and hard to breathe if I take paracetamol. So it's either ibuprofen or aspirin.

Yeah paracetemol does absolutely zilch for me, may as well chew chalk!

Sorry Davina I've gone off on a tangent here!

I was sent to a headache specialist once. He told me the strongest pain medication you can take without a prescription is ibuprofen and acetaminophen (Tylenol). They do not interact with each other and work in different ways. One blocks the transmission of pain signals; the other blocks pain receptors. So taking both together gives you a double benefit without a higher dose.
