Just something I have had to put up with for the past 30 odd years, just have to let it heal itself and hope I dont over do things again. Yes I have been working out the rear suspension, lots of measurements, wood blocks and pry bar to get axle in the right place. Its within a mm on all measurements so happy with that. Next is working out where the coil over shocks are going and then the Panard rod, all a bit tight as exhaust has to go there as well. This is where some clear thinking is needed and some luck.

Back was tight this morning so back on the Ibuprofen, felt okay yesterday but the pills mask it but at least I could move okay. Fibre broadband being fitted this afternoon, now I have the faff of changing all the wifi links. Not sure when the new system goes live either.

Well it looks like it went live as soon as it was fitted, had a text at 10.45 saying they didnt have an engineer to come out today. Sent a message back, I have taken the day off you had best get it fitted. Guess what someone came out and fitted it!
Just got the telly to connect now once I work out the setting up.Mum came to see me lunch time as she was in town having lunch and going to the book shop, she brought 2 large ring doughnuts covered in icing and sprinkles so we sat and had them with a cuppa.

Telly sorted and landline now works as well, need to get a double mains plug connector as there are 3 transformers and only 2 sockets by the wall box.

Food shop day yet again, I managed to separate some frozen chicken thighs and breasts that had stuck together. Put my meat chopping board on worktop and smacked the frozen lump on it till they broke free!!! There is something I was going to put on my shopping list and I just can not remember what it was, might come to me if I stop trying to think about it.
Still have that Sky TV thing to plug in my telly, yet another transformer to plug in! Still its hard to get behind TV to get to the sockets on the wall so I have an extension cable with them all plugged in that has switched sockets by the side of the TV stand.
Hope I can get some fuel as one of Ds customers rang him and said there was no diesel fuel anywhere in Tewksbury, nothing about that on the news so I hope they were just being numpty.

If it makes you feel better it's 33c and with the humidity feels like 37c. With the threat of thunder storms this afternoon.

It's harder to love and create than hate and destroy. Love and creation takes more energy. Where hate and destruction can be done with a single word that can haunt you for a life time.

Got on well today working out the Panhard rod, lots of welding to do now tomorrow. Not quite as hot today but I was still bushed by 3pm, nice hot shower when I got home did the trick.

Davina, I have been hooked on a YouTube series by a British guy named Matt Armstrong.  He has a phenomenal garage set up (it helps to have money), and he buys battered high-end cars.  He has been fighting a battle with Bugatti.  Like Ferrari and BMW, they build the cars with electronic locks so that repairs have to go to their shop, and their parts costs are obscene.

His series is not only about fighting for the right to freely repair a car, but also about how his fight is igniting a global challenge to these car companies and their policy of preventing third-party repairs on cars owned by these third parties.

Anyone should be allowed to purchase a used car, repair it, and have their car systems unlocked without all of this BS.

Agreed.

But Davina has a lot of power tools and torches that can remove anything electronic.
🤣
