Its a 1951 A40 10cwt Countryman, estate version of a Devon saloon. Well it looks like one, its highly modified. And then I am building an Austin Hereford, that will look like one but all the running gear has an upgrade.Look on my You Tube and you will see them.

My first car was an Austin. A crappy 1.0l Metro City! Didn't even have a cassette deck! Still had a choke.

I need the heater control knobs off a mk1 metro for the Countryman as it has a metro heater unit, not managed to find any yet. Hope its cool enough to wear my sweat shirt today as suffering from welder flash burn on my left arm, I put sun block on but still got UV burn and its a bit sore. Lots of good skin cream is helping.

It just started light here at 4, hope it stays away for a bit as the bloke is repairing my workshop wall where Ds lift nearly punched a hole in it.
Just ate 2 sirlion steaks for dinner, had some of mums broad beans with them. That was good, going to chase it down with a strawberry ice cream cone.

Just what I needed today what with food and fuel prices the Landlord is putting the rent up by £20 a month from August, a few curses uttered when I read the email!!

That's never good news. I remember when I rented it went up every year without fail. Is that the case with yours? Imagine an alternative universe where it sometimes went down.

I hadn't lived here six months before they raised my rent. Now the property is being sold, so we are convinced it will go up again when the new owners take over in July or August.

If they make a decent offer (like give me something in exchange for more money), I will consider staying for another year. Since that never happens, they just want more without offering anything in return, so I am actively searching for a new home. Hopefully, closer to the gold fields.

I was shocked when I saw how high rental costs are now. It is eye watering! When I last rented I was paying £420 for a 2 bed upper semi detached flat with front and rear gardens in a nice area of the city near the metro line. I would probabably be paying close to a grand for that now if not more.
