Well back home by 2, put some filler on the joints in the bulkhead (I hate doing filler work) and gave it 2 coats of rattle can primer. Direct to metal paint on rear axle and that was me done for today. Stuff to do at home tomorrow as I have let house work slip.

Washed my hair in the shower this morning, it was like straw so lots of conditioner. Have a bag of baby plumb tomatoes to use up so thinking either a pasta sauce or a curry as green beans to cook as well before they go brown or mouldy. Lots of house work to do ,washing on, bed to change and a good tidy up.

Maid Marion

I could do paint prep work for money!
I knew all the tricks for making cardboard tubes and balsa wood look like flat shiny metal when making model rockets.  As well as the patience to fill and sand and fill and sand until the surface was perfectly flat.

Found a green bean and potato recipe in one of my books that has tomato in it, 1/2 the bag was sliced and went in! The other 1/2 is making pasta sauce to go on some fusilli pasta with sardines for lunch.

I did! The wonders of new tech, its a wonder it works!! Managed to add a bit of foam to my sofa seat as it had collapsed ,elastic straps have gone weak as well but for the moment it works. Made Indian semolina dessert , 10tbs of sugar!! Not good for the diet but it tastes great, gee ,cloves, cardamom pods and saffron with desiccated coconut and blanched almond slices to decorate.

Well my lamb and spinach curry turned into pork and spinach curry, no label on the bag!! It will be fine as you can do any meat with this recipe TBH.

Works now, looks like it needed to be "turned on" as I got mail saying welcome. This is from last Sept at the Hot Rod Drags at Santa Pod drag strip, the Countryman and teardrop trailer.

I like that the Countryman, trailer, and cook stove all match.

Now you need to paint the propane tank red.

Sooo cool, Davina!  Reminds me of the hot rod models I used to make as a kid.

I love the Morris Minor.  I couldn't get one in the States.  I had to settle for a 1969 VW Squareback.  On my second date, my future wife showed up, and I was still under the car, bolting in the muffler.  She grabbed some cardboard and slid under to hold the muffler in place.

Love at first sight.  Guess why we are still together?

No not a Morris, its a 1951 Austin A40 10cwt Countryman to give it the correct title. Based on the A40 Devon saloon, they did make a van version and pickup as well. Mind you they never came with a 3L V6, air ride suspension and 4 wheel disc brakes with ABS!!
Painted a lot of bits today so waiting for them to dry, I can start fitting stuff to the chassis tomorrow. Need to post a pic of the Herferod sometime.
Weather said 24C today, car said 28! Had to put the fan on in the workshop to cool down.
