Well my lads band never got to play in Portugal, the main man got turned away from airport as his passport was one month over 10 years old. He is gutted, to say the least.

Oh no thats just totally gutting for them. It is however very important to be prepared before international travel way in advance. It does pay to be organised.

Mum gave me some rhubarb again, just took the crumble out the oven. Also got some of the last broad beans and 1/2 of a giant courgette ,she said the beans are a bit tough. Not sure what to do with the marrow/courgette but i do have some tinned tomato in a dish in the fridge from the other day.
 Got on well today, fitted the fuse box and sorted the wiring runs out. Caught my arm and ripped the skin again, must put some cream on my arms to see if my skin gets tougher.

Courgette is lovely sliced then roasted on olive oil with some salt and pepper. If big enough they are nice stuffed with mince, spices and rice.

I asked my lad is your passport okay, think I had a premonition. Sausage. tomato, courgette and broad beans in the pan. Onion and garlic to start.

There's loads you can do with courgetttes. I normally just roast them with peppers, garlic and red onion with either chicken or sweet potato but I also like to slice them thinly with a veg peeler brush, oil on them, season and whack them on a hot ridged griddle. I then make bruschetta with a fresh tomato salsa, courgettes on top, maybe some torn buffao mozzarella extra virgin olive oil. Tasty and light for this heat!

Expect lots of complaining about the heat for the next few days!! Woke early and thought get a move on and beat the heat at the workshop but is 20C already at 7.30 am and inside my flat its showing 26C on the thermometer in the living room.
 Cleaning and painting bits this morning, no welding till its a bit cooler!

It was getting hot by 2pm, car said 31C. Good job I have that blower to cool myself off. Came home early to pick my prescription up, different make that I did have some of before. Just hope they dont react, peel the clothes off and a good shower followed by an icecream and putting my feet up.

Well got down the workshop at 9am, it was already 23C. Did 2 hrs and that was enough with the heat as car said 30C when I left. D asked me to witness his signature, his sister had brought some paperwork for there parents property sale. I got called she all the time she talked to me!
 That will be it till Friday when this heat should be over, staying inside tomorrow when its mid 30s.

I loose my mojo when the temps get in the high 80's (f) or 30's(c) Its short skirt and tank top with no bra but still hard to work.

Well as a northern European type ancestry anything over mid 20s is to hot for me, turned muggy as well. Bed room curtains have been kept shut to keep the sun out living room ones part shut but a good breeze has sprung up and blowing them open. Just spent some of my savings and got 2 coil springs as its holding me up.

Mid 20s...thats hottt. I start struggling at 21c! Its crazy at 30c here now.

Yes 18 to 20C  is my comfort zone, not sure how accurate it is but thermometer in living room said 32C, under floor display said 28.5 in kitchen and on suite. Having a strong mug of ginger chi to help me cool off.

Have to walk to the shop before it gets too hot, need an onion as the last one I had was bad. Making a chicken curry using up what was in freezer, about 5 or 6 thighs, one leg .Not sure if there was any breast in that lot ,not decided what to make yet.
 Slept okay in the nuddy with no covers on, had a quick shower before I got into (onto?) bed and I was comfortable. Looks like low 30s today but high humidity, gone cloudy with a very hot breeze.
 Might do a big food shop thinking about it today, mum is going Fri as she has to take aunt and uncle to get uncles eyes tested. so she said she will go that day to shop. They put drops in uncles eyes and he cant see to drive after. Yes I have decided to go big food shopping now.

That worked out okay, I was back home by 10.30. Car said 29C by then, cooked the chicken. I did chicken and onions, not made that for ages. I was naughty and bought a "posh" pizza, cut it in 1/2 and cooked it in the air fryer and had it for lunch. Have curtains closed to try and keep it cool, trouble is I have to turn a lamp on to see keyboard!
