I see my nutty friends I meet at the Blues were out dancing and partying yesterday, I was to tired too go out. Its going to be a hot one today after they said cooler, shower, change and go to mums. Do her garden and then collect the Countryman and bring it home for the car show tomorrow.
 Have to call on chemist as they have not renewed my patches after only giving me 1/2 amount, not that I like the ones I got last time as they dont stick and still had a slight reaction to them.

Ring the docs they said, that will have to wait till next week. Its hot and I am wilting, just come back home (3pm) after being out since 9. Cup of tea and a cool down then its the Debbie Parry band at 6.30 and my lads band at 10. Will be gone midnight when I get  home and have to be up to get my car on show field by 9 tomorrow morning. Found my friends, they have gone back to campsite for a rest and will meet later. Town is busy, main road closed tonight so easy walking.

He is dropping a pass off (so he said) so I can get into camping field between 7 30 and 8 but he just messaged to say he will meet me at the gate at 9.
 Debbie Parry band were great as always, she just gave me a hug as I left. Boy was she sweaty!!Its hot in the clubhouse, I am sweaty just sitting!

I videoed on of their songs The Hills, I will see if You Tube lets me post it. Got back home at 11.30 ,bit of a toss and turn night as its still hot. Up and about early as well as need to get on the show field soon.

Well they were brilliant again, they were on the small stage at the Swan Hotel. That is where they rehearse, I got to sit right at the front. The lady behind me was saying about them and I said its the best band you will see here, she said the only one as they came to see them as my lad had done their bathroom. I said he is my eldest and she said its nice to meet his MUM!! I didnt correct her, got a band T shirt (thanks Ed ) for free. Back home for 8pm as my left knee is playing up after all the walking.

They have a article about them in a music mag this week, not being biased they are the best band here this weekend and apart from 2 covers (with their own slant) it was all their own songs. 1 1/2 hr set, Glastonbury next?
 My friends are in the car show today so I will go and see them when I am ready, cooler today with a breeze so a thicker dress I think. Knee feels a bit better, some more ibuprofen cream after my shower will help.

Saw my friends, he cant walk far after the bite to his leg the other week. They have bought a 2016 Mustang convertible so came in that, done 22k ,black and has dealer warranty.
  Walked to the cafe mum goes to on Wed when she goes to book shop and got a drink, told her mum was in hospital and they were Oh no, send our love. Found my nutty mates at the pub and we watched a band, had to come back home as my back was killing from standing. Putting shorts and a T on as this dress is to hot, forecast got it wrong!

I went back over to the cars and chatted with my friends till they did the cruise out up the high street, stood on the side as they all drove past from 2 big rigs , Mustangs of all ages, 3 2nd WW Jeeps, some modern Jeeps, Corvettes , Camaros, All makes of pickups, US police cars , Blues brothers car and some TV show cars.
  What peed me off was the fact that they let a 3 wheeled Citroën kit car in yesterday and today a hot rod Austin 16, had a "slight" word with the little twat that was in charge!!!

Still stuff on today but I have a lot of things to do, tap has broken in my on suite so will have to faff about with jugs of cold and a kettle to have a shave. Put my Austin back on mums drive and sort her stuff out then go tidy the workshop as its in a right mess. Pile of clothes to wash as well, need to ring docs and sort my meds out as well as they messed up again.

Hade a phone call from Doc, mum is well enough to go to a cottage hospital. She has to finish a course of meds first, I will see her in the morning and find out better what is happening as I had a hard time understanding the Indian? doctor.
  Bloke has been to look at my broken tap, said he will do it tomorrow afternoon so hope I am back home for that. Rang docs, hope they sort my meds out.
