Ok Davina and Sarah, I won't give up on curry.  Now I have to figure out a way to get up north for a visit to your kitchen, Davina.

Davina's down South from my perspective but I would think she would class herself as living in the West Midlands maybe? That said, I'm surprised I can't smell the curries bubbling away from up here where the wildlings live.

Very South Midlands on the Worcester/ Gloucester/ Herefordshire border. Folks think a curry has to blow your brains out but that is restaurant curries , true home made are a lot different like eating a  pan fried steak to the same in a 4star restaurant.
Hair brushed out okay this morning, just a bit thin on one side! Having a laid back morning as docs is 11.30 so will go down the workshop after then back to mums to do her tea.

Yes its just going down behind the hills now! Had some stone chip drip on my eyebrow, stung when I had to clean it off with thinners! Think I need a full coverall before I do anymore.

My family migrated south and settled in Nailsworth for a few generations until they migrated to the US.

I will find a curry shop that will treat me gently. I have a baby tolerance to very spicy. 😁

Curry can be good. My stomach does not tolerate well what must be spicy Indian curry.

I much prefer the Japanese or Chinese curries.
Always stay cheerful, be polite, kind, and understanding. Accepting yourself as the woman you are is very liberating.  Never underestimate the appreciation and respect of authenticity.  Help connect a person to someone that may be able to help that person.  Be brave, be strong.  A TRUE friend is a treasure.  Relationships are very important, people are important, and the sooner we all realize that the better off the world will be.  Try a little kindness.  Be generous with your time, energy, wisdom, and resources.   Inconvenience yourself to help someone.   I am a brown eyed, brown haired woman.

Have to cook mum some lunch today for 1pm so no point in going down workshop not that there is a lot I can do without parts. Dug some beetroot up yesterday, they are slightly larger than golf balls. Should be at least tennis ball size but nothing did that well this year, will pull some carrots when I get there as nothing tastes better than garden to pan. She wants ham with parsley sauce, parsley is growing by the green house door. Said to mum as I will be doing the veg next year I will build another raised bed and put herbs in it, grow chillies in green house and do some outside tomatoes, she said thats fine!

The heat really messed things up in the summer.  Courgette plants normally go crazy, but produced around half this year. Home grown beetroot is yummy though

Well 3 days at home in the afternoon, doing mums lunch Sun and Mon messes up any chance of going down the workshop. Today I did mums breakfast and then went into city to exhaust shop to order some bends to my spec so it was lunch time when I got back home. They should be ready by end of week so I will be busy then.

At least it has stopped raining for a day, good as its shopping day. Turned cold now and heater in bedroom turned on set at 16C, it did come on yesterday. Heater on in living room for the last few days as well, it was a 2 coat day down the workshop yesterday.
Atlantic storm coming in for tomorrow and Sat, passing to the south but we will get the wind and tailend of the rain here. Just hope my workshop stays dry as need to dig a trench across doorway again, its filled in over the summer.

Well after death race 2000 around supermarket and dodging poor drivers I made it back to mums, made her lunch of pasta twirls, ham bits, left over cooked veg and a tin of cream of mushroom soup. Also cooked a boiled egg in with the pasta, she has enough for tomorrow as well. Had a sort out of freezer again and brought frozen plums from 2023 home to see if okay, jam time!
Got a shoulder of pork and cubed a 1LB for a curry and roasted the rest in air fryer, 1hr 20 and its slightly over done but at least cooked in centre. That will be my dinner for next few days with roast and greens, I do eat stuff other than curry!!!

Remember burn the clothes and bleach cleans up blood. If the police come "I was at the supermarket and there was this car that looked just like mine" I hid until they left.

I was very late getting to mums to do her breakfast, she had got her own corn flakes! I put the radio on when I woke at 6.20 but then went back to sleep and it was gone 8 when I came around. Trouble was it took me hours to feel okay.

I spent about 10 min yesterday bending over the chassis to put clips on fuel line, back is giving me grief this morning in the same old place. Staying home till I have to go and do mums tea tonight anyway, we missed the worst of the first storm and again today its just a bit windy from the 2nd storm.
No bits to go down the workshop with yet and chemist not messaged to say meds are ready, that is peeing me off as it was a week ago Fri I got message from docs to say they had sent them the order.
Making plum jam and a vindaloo later, need to skin the plums first.

Plums took ages to skin, gave up on the large firm ones but its all bottled now. Only made 2 jars but that will do, need to check curry now as that should be done. Got a message prescription is ready, it can wait till Mon as I used the patches that sometimes I react to.
Have to get to mums for 4pm and make her tea, that will be a sandwich and a cuppa as well as anything else she needs.

What type of plums do you use Davina? My Victoria plums were all used up about 2 months ago!
