You look gorgeous girl. I'm so jealous, of those narrow shoulders and big rack. Did you have someone do your makeup?

Thanks everyone, for the compliments. They make me feel so good!

Thanks, Gina! I told AI to apply some tasteful makeup and this was the result. As I mentioned above, I was about to leave for electro and I had no makeup on and was fuzzy, so I cheated a little.

I can see it and I'm in the UK Courtney.

Looking good there Courtney. Nothing masculine in that pic. 100% pass.

Thank you, love! Comments like that give me a little zing of euphoria.

I passed another quiz from my electrology course last night. I just started a 20 hour chapter, so I have some studying to do this weekend. I think I'm on track to begin the in-person classes at the school in September. In the meantime, I've joined online electrologist groups, started listening to a podcast, anything I can do to get more familiar with the profession. I tend to dive fully into new pursuits.

We have horrible air quality, due to Canadian wildfires north of here. I've seen that reps from a particular "group" are "blaming" Canada for the trouble they've caused. I think climate change is to blame but they disagree. I guess when you get huge campaign donations from oil companies you learn where *not* to place the blame.

I'd like to go fishing this afternoon, but the air is simply unsafe. I can't imagine what it's like up north right now.

In other news, I'm finally able to put my motorcycle helmet on and go for a ride. Until recently, the endotines (dissolvable fasteners) that were used to hold my forehead together were creating a lot of pain when I tried to drag the very snug helmet over that part of my body. I tried the helmet on recently and was pleasantly surprised to find that I was pain free.

I made friends with a neighbor who loves motorcycling. He's retired and financially well-off, so he owns 4 or 5 nice bikes. We rode together a few times last year but not again since my surgery. There was one issue I'd hoped to resolve before our next ride: our bike-to-bike intercoms were incompatible, due to being different brands. I kept watch and the brand I needed went on sale a few weeks ago (lowest price I've seen) so I bought one and fitted it to my helmet. I'm really hoping we can ride this Sunday, as the air quality should be good and the weather pleasant. I'm out to him and his wife, so I can feel comfortable around him. If he's not around, I might just go solo. The new coms system has JBL audio and music sounds quite good!

You look great in the photo!

I am looking for an electrologist right now. I have stopped plucking so I I can start electrolysis in a few weeks. The facial hair and my voice are what drives my dysphoria the most so you will be helping people like me over come one of the hardest parts of transitioning.

From what I understand, the areas in Canada that are burning are very dense forest and rugged terrain. Not even roads there, so getting in to fight them is extremely difficult. We have had similar issues here in Utah and Idaho. Canada doesn't yell at us for sending them our smoke, so I find it inappropriate to try to blame them for theirs. Like they could put up a wall and keep it all on their side of the border? Idiots.

We share wildfire smoke, industrial pollutants, and wildlife. That's what neighbors do. It isn't a big deal. The winds will shift. They always do.

Courtney, you look fabulous.

Always stay cheerful, be polite, kind, and understanding. Accepting yourself as the woman you are is very liberating.  Never underestimate the appreciation and respect of authenticity.  Help connect a person to someone that may be able to help that person.  Be brave, be strong.  A TRUE friend is a treasure.  Relationships are very important, people are important, and the sooner we all realize that the better off the world will be.  Try a little kindness.  Be generous with your time, energy, wisdom, and resources.   Inconvenience yourself to help someone.   I am a brown eyed, brown haired woman.
