Castlerigg Stone Circle in the Lake district. The stones aren't as impressive as Stonehenge but it's older and the location has it beat.

A wise man once said don't judge a man until you've walked a mile in his shoes, that way when you judge him you're a mile away and you have his shoes!

They knew Stonehenge would be around for a while, and it needed to be built correctly. This is where they practiced first.

Thanks Lori, it's a beautiful place and it's normally teaming with people so I got lucky with the shot. It had just finished torrential rain and I was staying in nearby Keswick so I thought I would nip out a grab a pic.
