Rhode Island has really progressive bathroom laws, last enacted in 2022.
The first bill (2021-H 5741, 2021-S 0755) makes single-user restrooms in public places non-gender specific. The bill amends the state building code to require that any single-use restroom in a public building or place of public accommodation be available for use by persons of any gender by January 1, 2022. It also requires that all new construction of state and municipal buildings opened to the public after July 1 provide for a single-user restroom facility for use by persons of any gender.

"Gender-specific restrooms can cause a great deal of anxiety for members of the transgender community," said Rep. John G. Edwards (D-Dist. 70, Tiverton, Portsmouth), bill sponsor. "The reason for that anxiety is the verbal — and sometimes physical — harassment that many of them have experienced. This bill would simply strip single-user bathrooms of any gender designation, which will go a long way toward improving the mental health of members of the transgender and non-binary community. This is an important step for the state to take in providing for the inclusion of all its residents."

The Rose Show was held at a church that had a family restroom.

Do you use motorized golf carts?  Does your bag have wheels?  Do you carry a full legal set of clubs now?
Always stay cheerful, be polite, kind, and understanding. I use a three wheel cart I bought a couple years ago that isn't motorized.
I usually bring 14 clubs, adding enough wedges to fill out the set.
I can swing a lefty wedge but rarely need it  on the courses I play now.

When I went to RI I bought my spare 7 club set.

Have you ever bought a used club or a set of clubs?  Seems like a way to save money if they would work for the buyer.

I bought a couple used ladies clubs on eBay.  Ladies don't wear out their clubs like men do so they were in excellent condition.  I don't abuse my clubs either so I've been buying like new clubs on Callaway Pre-Owned.  I bought a new 4H for just$40!

Nice catch on the 4H!

Saving money at the grocery store.
Instead of buying bacon or Canadian bacon I bought a pound of lunch meat ends for $4.
Bacon tastes good but takes more work to prepare in the morning.
I can chop up the lunch meat to make an egg omelet for breakfast.

It may make sense for those of us living alone to look for small quantities of food that spoils easily.
A local market will sell me just one celery stick by the pound for my soup dishes.
I freeze ginger in a plastic bag and shave off what I need in a microplaner.
Onion for soups may also be chopped up and frozen.

I like to shop for sales.  Holiday sales can be really good.

I have a three wheel non electric trolley but in all honesty I rarely used it. I just carried the clubs as it's less hassle and you can just walk straight across greens instead of having to go round. I haven't played for a good 4 or 5 years though, I've lost a lot of strength since then. it might be a bit much for me now.

Buying second hand clubs is definitely the way forward if you're new to the game or don't have the funds for new. I have bought second hand and the clubs have been excellent. Golf is a funny one, People with money are always convinced that all they need to do is buy the latest gear and that will improve their game, so there is always a healthy market for nearly new golf gear. I play with the same set of irons I bought when I was 21 and they were a rubbish make back then too! I can still hit the ball same as anyone else!

Marion, playing slowly and not allowing a faster group through is the same as driving on the highway in the fast lane way below the speed limit with a line of traffic stuck behind you.

No, we could tell there were groups ahead of them.  It was a traffic jam out there ahead of us.

In the big picture, it may have been better for all of us in the threesome.
I Googled his brother using his age and figured out that he was visiting from the West Coast, which is why I had never seen him before.  They took to chatting in Korean!
I'm sure my great drive for an easy bogey on a long Par 3 I couldn't reach triggered the conversation of  his struggles with driver.  Next thing I knew I was seeing a lesson in driving the ball!

The big issue is wedge versus driver swing.  He is a great wedge player and hits greens with regularity.
I'm sure that compromises the smooth flow of his driver swing.  He was doing drills to smoothly swing the club through the ball.

I have the same problem!  My drives tend to be short because I fail to throw the club at the end and it goes to the right.  Once in a while I do throw it properly and I get a gorgeous ball flight that is long and straight!  Fortunately I just changed my wedge swing!  Instead of taking full swings at the ball with too long of a backswing I changed to shorter backswings to adjust the distance and a full follow through! This has thrown off the accuracy of my  wedges within 50 yards but I'm just playing through that, concentrating on the proper swing instead.  Good contact and follow through is a good swing!

Many golfers can't do that.  Their score gets higher and they go back to the old way of swinging.
I'm willing to take some temporary pain for long term gain!

My late wife said I was a polymath.  I never stop learning.  Golf is different for me because of that.
I'm now able to work on multiple issues at once and not get frustrated or confused because I know what the issues are.

After all that typing my crumpets turned out really well today.
Just the right shade of brown on the bottom and a good rise from the yeast and baking powder!

I'm wearing a skirt and platforms, running back and forth between the computer and the kitchen!

I've reached an unusual level of proficiency for an amateur golfer.  I know how to set up and make golf shots from anywhere on the course. I'm exceptionally good from bunkers and other bad lies. I carry a bag of 14 clubs and have studied when are where to use every one of them.  As well as being able to play a half set or fewer and adapt my game to playing well with fewer clubs. I'm sure that being transgender has helped greatly in learning the nuances of playing golf.

Yesterday I was hitting my approach shots exceptionally well with my irons, placing the ball closest to the hole. As is commonly done, I got to watch the other players putt first, and use that information to decide how the ball would roll on the green. It can be quite tricky to decide whether the ball will curve in one direction or not.  Seeing another ball roll on the same line is invaluable information!

But, I only punched out of the woods once.  They were in carts and wanted to play faster than I could walk, so the 2nd two times I tossed the ball onto the rough to save time and keep up the pace of play. Then I hit the ball back onto the fairway with my new $40 4 hybrid.  This is social awareness or "reading the room."  By hitting the ball back onto the fairway I could show them  how to properly play the hole, something I couldn't do if I was taking the scenic path through the woods.

I shopped at Savers today and found a pair of light pink denim shorts with 4inch inseams.
They were tight at first but the 100% cotton has stretched out nicely in the couple of hours I've worn them.

Those are very short shorts.  I heard those used to be called DAISY DUKES (denim) or HOT PANTS.

I went to Pride in the Park wearing a pink bucket hat, white athletic T shirt, and a lavender skirt.  Did my nails, wore a little lipstick, and colorful golf shoes.  My legs look really good as I've honed my summer fashion strategy for years now.  I have a very light tan from being out on the golf course for four or five hours at a time. Hair removal starts in the winter with IPL and an epilator and shifts toward saving off a few hairs in the summer.
