Listening to you talk about golf Marion makes me wonder how I would go if I went and played dressed pretty.

Would the game bring back all the anger I had? Would I accept that you can never play a perfect round?

I'm very patient with other people just not myself.

One time my wife and 6 or 7 of her friends decided they wanted to go and play 9 holes at the club I used to belong to.

I caddied for them and tried to help them with a few hints.  My wife struggled due to eye problems which I only began to understand a long time after.

My wifes friend used to occassionly hit golf balls with her dad and she had promise.

We played the 9 and just as dark set in I suggested playing the 10th a par 3 of 145m.

Her friend was hitting a lot of carpet burners so I asked her if I could line her up.

I adjusted her stance opening up her left foot and hip.
Teed up the ball at the right height for a 5 wood and told her just to let the club flow and sweep through the ball.

Her friend swung perfectly, you could hear the sound of club on ball was perfect and the ball lauched beautifully toward the green with a nice l to r fade.
It had gotten too dark to see where the ball finished but it looked good from the ter

Anyway the rest of the group got up to the green eventually.

We searched the bunkers for my wifes friends ball, I looked over the back. No ball.

I said to her friend "check the hole".

And yes, there it was.

I was accused of dropping her ball in but I didn't.

Her friend had her ball mounted on a trophy by her dad and 35 years later she still has it.

She never played golf again. She claims she found perfection, so why?

I swear that is all true.

Dressing pretty for a round at the club is not currently on my radar. It would be nice to play in a skort and a colorful top but even though people here are quite relaxed with all lgbtq things I don't trust all relevant club members donning the "whatever floats your boat" mentality and I don't want to become a pariah. And I would want to look femme if presenting femme.

I found a playing partner yesterday.  A disabled veteran who works as a therapist helping patients with neuromuscular issues!  He says I don't look like any of the stroke survivors he works with.

We both help each other to play better. Despite our issues and a wet rain delayed course we finished our 18 holes in well under 4 hours!     Golf is a game of contradictions.  One is that slowing down helps  you play faster.

I bought a Japanese designed rangefinder for locating distances to the flag.  It only reads in yards and has a pin finding function, as well as very bright optics. It is also tiny and light. 😀

Titleist Pro v1 balls, the best in the business for me. If you can find a stock of lake balls it's well worth purchasing. I differ from Marion though and like plain white.

I have found golf balls with a red stripe all around them.
Or some regular, non range balls with gouges. 

Sometimes some that look new.

My free ice cream cone at Stew Leonards had a lot of ice cream.  It was as if they were envious of my waistline and wanted to ruin my diet.  Except that I'd really like to gain few pounds as I know I'm in the underweight zone despite the BMI being normal.

Yesterday I quickly reheated my leftover fish and chips for lunch with  the little deep fryer and had it for dinner.

I received two more XS mini skirts from Revolve, for a total of four skirts.
Horizontal stripes, bright red, and two ivory skirts for a total of $80.
I save a lot of money being able to buy XS clothes on sale.

Mum buys a fish and chip on a Thurs, it lasts her 3 days! She reheats it in the air fryer so it stays crisp and if she just has chips left she puts them in the fry pan.

My walk is getting more feminine as I hone my skills in walking in high heels.
Walking in heels helps my balance which in turn helps me play golf on tilted ground.

 I recently started carrying my morning tea from the kitchen to the web surfing computer in the morning!

With all the golf I've been playing I can also walk for quite the distance in heels.
Confidently walking in high heels is a skill that takes work to master.

Walking in heels... that would be nice. However I'm already too tall for a woman so that might be a problem.

I must say I picked up walking in heels pretty quickly and wore them at work and around town. I've not gone too big though as I'm 5'10 so heels take me over 6ft which although not huge is still taller than most women around here. Its surprising how different things look from just that tiny change in perspective.

The Asian assistant to the sushi chef said I looked pretty!
I put together a cheerful summer oufit wearing a pink hat, sleeveless red Hello Kitty crop top, 4inch inseam light pink shorts, and multicolored golf shoes. 
I wore Hawaiian Tropic Sheer Touch sunscreen to give my lightly tanned skin a nice sheen.  Despite being a senior I have amazingly good skin tone.
I wasn't wearing any makeup or polish, but had my nails neatly trimmed.

I surprised a guy at a gas station.  He had the 2nd pump but the guy in front of him was taking way too long, so I realized I ought to move my car back so he could get out and get on with his business. So I did it before someone boxed me in.
