Yes, I need to go to the grocery store to buy some fresh scallions to make Japanese Yakitori.
I already have chicken cut up into small cubes.  The Japanese prefer chicken thighs for taste but chicken breasts seem to more popular as it is easier to prepare.

I can use the broiler in the kitchen instead of the usual grill.

It is hilly 5521 yards from the whites. Rating/slope of 66.8/118
The forward tees are 5126 yards.  Private course with fast greens open to residents on selected days.
Monday is senior day.  Seniors are the biggest voting block in America and the town owns the land.

I also play on a municial course.   6021 from the whites and 5595 from the forward tees.
I get resident status there because our town did a land swap to build a Costco.  They also built a wedding pavilion also used for golf events.

The private course has very fast tiered greens. The ball rolls a long way down the fairway.

The muni has slower tiered greens, very nice fairways, and thick punishing rough.  Easy to lose the ball in the rough if you didn't see it land.

Both courses hold a lot of charity events.  The private course has a really nice restaurant.

Sounds nice. My home course is 70.4/131 and 6220 yds, from mens' club tee (66.2/123 and 5320 from the forward tees). Rather flat except for a couple of holes that are up/down. Half the course is narrow and through the woods, the other half is more open.

My monthly electric bill went up $25 due to all the rain adding to the humidity in the basement.
I decided I better run a humidifier to keep it from getting too wet in case I decide to store clothes down there.  There is just as much rack space down there as I have in four upstairs closets.

Yesterday I heard the screeching of tires in the grocery store parking lot as an older lady set her parking brake too early.  Was she distracted by my bare midriff, short shorts, or kitten heel sandals.  Or all three? I made a special order of a raw tuna roll and had a "small" ice cream cone while I waited.  I always get a lot of ice cream when I order "small."  I saw a cold GG huddled up in the produce section of the store.  After many rounds of early tee times in the 60s and ending the round in the mid 80s my body has adapted to changes in temperature.

I told the starter at the turn I was going to use the ladies room before playing the back nine on the golf course.  The ladies room is single occupancy, and close to the starter's booth. It was a great back nine except for one blow up hole, a par 3 and 5s and 6s on the longer holes.

The blow up hole wasn't what you would expect. I flushed the 9 iron 36 yards past the pin!  Then I flushed the 54* wedge back on to the fairway.  It was the 16th hole and normally flaws in swings show up.  Instead they disappeared!  On the next hole I hit a 125 yard shot that landed on the green for a ten foot chance at birdie.  Another great swing! I walked 18 while most rode carts in the heat and humidity.

It sounds as if you had a nice round.

Have a great Thursday!

I finally went to the beach wearing a bikini!  It was good weather for doing so.  Overcast and temperatures in the low 80s.  Walked a hiking trail along the shoreline for an hour and was at the beach for two.  Just in case the weather became sunny I put on sunscreen before I put on the bikini to avoid those tell tale tan lines.  Got some video of me walking around a secluded area of the beach.

After driving down there I stopped at Lenny and Joes Fish Tale for a deep fried scallop sandwich and a chocolate milk shake. I have so little belly fat I think I look better after I eat!

I never heard of a scallop sandwich.
