At my last one, the nurse asked if I was on HRT due to being almost 70. I laughed and said no, I am trans. She didn't bat an eye and said, "OK, step over here."

I once had a nurse (she was new) doing the screening questions before seeing my Primary. She asked when I last had a PAP. We kind of stared at one another for a minute, then it dawned on her... "Oh, right. No uterus." We both laughed at that.

I have another mammogram soon.

Do not skip this important step as it may be a lifesaver.

Always stay cheerful, be polite, kind, and understanding. Accepting yourself as the woman you are is very liberating.  Never underestimate the appreciation and respect of authenticity.  Help connect a person to someone that may be able to help that person.  Be brave, be strong.  A TRUE friend is a treasure.  Relationships are very important, people are important, and the sooner we all realize that the better off the world will be.  Try a little kindness.  Be generous with your time, energy, wisdom, and resources.   Inconvenience yourself to help someone.   I am a brown eyed, brown haired woman.

I'll have my annual wellness checkup in March, I expect the mammogram order will be issued at that time.  At my last wellness checkup my GP was going through my chart and she mentioned it's too early for a mammogram.  I had never even considered that a mammogram was in my future before that.  It really caught me off guard.

Yes, she was just going down the checklist, recording answers, not really paying attention to what the questions were asking. We both thought it was funny.
