This is me too. Still a rockhound and a gold prospector, but I don't have the obligatory full beard anymore.

I've always enjoyed cooking. Is it a gender hobby?

I have been noted as a talented cunning linguist.  Females and males I suppose could be though.

Always stay cheerful, be polite, kind, and understanding. Accepting yourself as the woman you are is very liberating.  Never underestimate the appreciation and respect of authenticity.  Help connect a person to someone that may be able to help that person.  Be brave, be strong.  A TRUE friend is a treasure.  Relationships are very important, people are important, and the sooner we all realize that the better off the world will be.  Try a little kindness.  Be generous with your time, energy, wisdom, and resources.   Inconvenience yourself to help someone.   I am a brown eyed, brown haired woman.

Traditionally it would have been though the top chefs were always male (of course that is a profession not a hobby). Now, not so much, but baking is often female leaning.

Don't reallt have any hobbies apart from music production and being a furry. Certainly I can't stand most stereotypical masculine things here like football and most sports tbh.

Birdwatching and wildlife, local history, true crime, I'm an armchair detective, classic cars and motorcycles though I no longer drive but am thinking of a Royal Enfield 350 or Honda 350 classic style bike, wood crafting though I  am not very good and haven't made anything more complicated than hair sticks, model making, I like building 1/72 scale allied aircraft of WW2, working on a Mosquito fighter bomber just now, enjoy music too.
Don't care if they're not feminine hobbies I've been told I am not really trans for riding a Harley Davidson Sportster, listening to Metallica, not wearing makeup or dying my hair, not wearing dresses or heels etc. You can guess my answer to them!

I never had any typical male hobbies to begin with. Except I liked camping - but that was mostly because you could get away from societies' expectations. Gaming doesn't count, I think that's a stereotype. I did notice though that I very suddenly lost interest in testosterone overkill shooters and such, and prefer more meaningful games.

That's me too. It isn't transition-related though. I lost a lot of hand/eye coordination after a neck injury, so I can't keep up. That got me to switch to city-builder type games. The exception is World of Tanks, but that is just because I have a very long history with tanks and it's hard to let go of that relationship.

I have always loved cerebral games but I have enjoyed my fair share of shooters and RPG games like Skyrim, fallout and the like. Whenever I did play first or third person games I would always without fail choose the female character even as far back as the Gauntlet arcade machines where I would always pick Valkyrie! I was always mocked by friends for doing that. Apparently that is a common theme among trans gamers.

For the record, I wouldn't say camping is a male exclusive hobby!

Hah! Yes! This 😁
Always the female character. Except sometimes I'd go for male as not to seem weird.

Nah! I did not give two hoots if people mocked me, I'm playing the hot chick! I loved it when games like Fallout, Mass Effect and Skyrim allowed you to design your own character too!

I do love the strategy games too and (guilty pleasure) I quite liked the Sims for a while too!

I enjoyed Mass Effect: Andromeda and Skyrim. I started playing the Elder Scrolls games with Daggerfall and I was hooked! I still play the Sims, and SimCity occasionally. I fell into Banished which is no longer being updated, but the Colonial Charter Mod adds so much to the game. Its best to start with the base game until you figure it out, then start again with Colonial Charter installed. Its like a whole new game.

I like to read and I encourage you to consider joining a book club that meets in person.  It is a nice way to meet all kinds of people.

If you are introverted bookworm, this may bring you out a bit.  There are a lot of nice people out there.

Here too!

Oh yes. I even played WoW and EVE Online for many years. I found that I just don't enjoy PvP play like I used to. My injuries made it so fast and coordinated moves just don't happen anymore. Getting old sucks!

I am a bookworm but I have never understood what the point of a book club is. What do you do? All read together?

For me reading a book is personal escapism I'm not sure I want to over analyse it with others. I wonder if it might remove some of the joy from it when you have pictured the world in your mind. That sort of happens with movie adaptations, You read a book and then you see the film and your memory of the book is forever altered by someone elses vision of what you had imagined.

I'm not knocking it mind I genuinely don't know what happens at these group meetings.

I've never been an online gamer, I just want single player games. I sort of switched off gaming a bit when it became clear that most games now were all about the online mode and they just threw a token single player mode in as an afterthought to keep people like me happy!

The nice thing about WoW was you could stay in the PvE areas. I led a Guild for a couple of years, so there was the social aspect of it. The senior players would escort the younger players through some of the harder quests, show them where to look for valuable treasure, and help them advance. Over time, we even developed our own Guild Lore that incorporated everyone's backstory. New members enjoyed it because it helped them feel immersed in the RPG.

Then the Gold Spammers just got to be out of control, so I left. Now, World of Tanks is the only online PvP game I play, as there is no offline mode. But the rules are tight enough that you have very few griefers and cheaters show up. The ones that do, get banned very quickly.
