If someone wishes to use the swear words that is their right in an unsupervised all words are okay scenario. I just try to not have to listen to it (or read it) and wish that those words would not be said in my presence.
I would ask a waitress to move me from my table to another one if there were many such words said by people at dining tables near me. Why should I have my meal ruined, and it is me moving, not them?
So many TV skits have been downgraded in my opinion (it may not be your opinion, and please note that is not a comment directed at anyone in particular) by the use of these swear words. Trouble is, after you hear them, it is too late to avoid hearing what you heard. You can though avoid hearing any more by switching the station, podcast, or stream, so to speak.
I think most people would follow the rules, if made aware, about word choice in a setting.
