So today I had a first for me.  And that was using the women's restroom at work or anywhere for that matter.  Since I came out in May, all the places where I needed to use the restroom had unisex bathrooms, or in the case of my work, a "family bathroom".  At work for the last six months we weren't sure the other women on staff (or other women from off the street, since we don't have restrooms dedicated to just employees, so we weren't sure if there might be issues from your average Jane Doe) would react to me using the women's, so they I agreed with them to use the family bathroom.  But that bathroom was out of order today, so I had to use the women's, and the first time I was the only one in there, then the second time there was someone from off the street in there and when we were both at the sink washing our hands, she didn't seem concerned that I was in there.  To her I was just another woman doing her thing.

As my dad would say, "90% of the things we worry about never happen."

Every time nothing happens, it just reassures us that nothing will. Eventually, we reach the point where we head for the ladies' room without even thinking about it.
