They're really nice if one wants the freedom of going braless whilst maintaining some modesty.

I have Petals, flower-shaped nipple covers. They work and stay stuck. Oh, boy, do they stay stuck! Even when trying to peel them off. Ouchies. So I try to avoid wearing them.

The regular Cakes pads are made of silicone (I think) but have no adhesive, so they're not hard to get off. There's a more aggressive one available which does have adhesive.

Quote from: Courtney G on April 01, 2026, 08:49:53 AMI know the feeling. It's actually a lot of work for me during the warm months. Yesterday was warm, so I wore a tank top, which was nice and cool but whenever I went outside, I put a baggy Columbia fishing shirt on to hide my breasts. Even the oversized shirt tents out ridiculously but I get away with it because I guess people only see what they want to see. But at 5' 11", 170 pounds, 36D/38C there's no hiding what's going on.

Well I don't present male anymore, so with my women's tops if people see the outline of a bra, I don't think they'll notice.  But if they saw some berries—-it might turn some of the men on at the wrong time.

But it was just nice to see on the eve of my birthday that I am still growing and, even though I had to go off of Cyproterone and go onto Spiro for other reasons this year, I'm still seeing breast growth and haven't succumbed to the Spiro killer effects.

Back in the early 80's I was working part time at a grocery store.  It was always a nice treat to be work the register at the end of the freezer section 🥶. Especially in the summer! 😉

My GP and I made a med adjustment about 6 months ago, and I've had some notable breast development.  I've worn a bra pretty much every day for the last 6 years because I wanted to.  Now for reasons others have  mentioned, I really have to wear one.

About a week ago, I did wear a light top without a bra around the house.  It was so nice to see something (other than my padded bra) showing through my top for the first time ever.  I felt so good!

I just had my yearly HRT appointment with the clinic today, even with some technical issues (I couldn't log onto my app on my phone and I wasn't near my laptop, and she was having issues on her end, so it was a phone call even though both of us would have liked to have seen each other visually).  The nurse-practitioner I was talking to was very nice and she was like (just based on my bloodwork) "This is more of a formality today" than anything else, since from a year ago and even back in September, my prolactin levels have dropped significantly and are only slightly above normal (21.4 ug/L), but she wasn't that concerned with it, especially compared to last year's results.  And she even said that, were it not for my atrial fibrillation, I would be fine doing mono E and progesterone, and I don't need the spiro (she wasn't telling me to go off that because at this point its my family doctor and cardiologist that want me on spiro for cardiological reasons, but she did tell me that I could let them know that, as far as transition goes I could be removed from spiro) because my testosterone is 0.4 nmol/L.  Even my estrogen is 623 pmol/L, and she was happy with that.

The np today, when she was checking my records, was like, in terms of how long the clinic has been opened, I appeared to be one of the OG's, since she was just recently brought onboard, even though she had been working with transindividuals for years.  She was even more surprised when I told her that I had actually started with the provincially-funded clinic that Foria used to be before the provincial government cut funding for virtual clinics, so she was like "then you really are one of the OG's)'   :)

So I'm just wondering for those who remember, when you were going into your fourth year, or even in your fifth year of hormones, what did you notice in terms of changes?  I know most charts online say that after 3 years on hormones you're body is like done but did you experience any further growth?

And on a different note, yesterday I finally debuted my new feminine name at work.  It'll take a while for people to stop calling me my old name, however many people thought that it was a perfect name and will help them to use the correct pronouns now.

My first four years had minimal effects because my hormone levels remained too low during that period. Many sources, as you stated, claim that after three years, what you have is what you get.

However, what is not clearly stated is that it requires three years of sustained hormone levels within the target gender range.

If they are too low, as was the case in my case, the body processes them as waste and eliminates them. Since I was also on testosterone blockers, all of my hormones were too low.

Spiro and finasteride affect the 5α-reductase enzyme, which affects all hormones, so that threw another wrench into the works.

Once I got my levels into the correct range, about two years ago, things then started changing for me.

So don't start counting from the day you took your first pill. The clock doesn't really start until your hormone levels are within the proper range.

I am in my 4th or 5th year of HRT (I'm not sure on exact time as I had a stop start regime due to a number of reasons) I am definitely noticing more changes mainly down to fat redistribution. It seems to have kicked in a gear over the last 6 months or so. My face looks so much more feminine and I've really noticed the tops of my thighs, hips and butt filling out. I have documented other changes on her relating to the big 'O' that I won't go into here. Coupled with this my emotions seem to be getting heightend again similar to when I first started. I'm not sure if this is just because I'm now on Susans and able to talk about these issues rather than the HRT perse.

I don't think my boobs are still growing, I think they stopped midway through last year but they are DD cup and I don't really want them any bigger now!
