I guess it is up to me to decide if I want to thank everyone for wishing me a happy birthday. I think I quit celebrating my birthday years ago.
Reminds me of something said about someone that did not celebrate birthdays, a bet that he was at the office to collect his retirement on the day he became old enough to collect.

A thought that kind of hurt, the party that I was at and got bullied might have been a birthday party. All 4 boys were older relatives.

Change of subject:
Like I had stated, this apartment is about five miles from the VA clinic, with the crossroads mall slightly closer. Learning where to make my turns to get from place to place, starting to travel without the navigator directing.

Dear Michelle:
To prevent forum members from being aware of your birthday and
offering you their kind birthday greetings...
...your birthday date can be removed from the Forum, if you wish.

Please advise and I will take care of it for you.

Just don't know what to do with the attention. My sister's birthday is one week before mine, at some point the celebrations were merged, with her getting all the attention. And my paternal grandfather's somewhere between the two. I could say we were all partied out by the time my birthday came along.

Happy birthday, just caught up with stuff.

I only saw the meme once.

Doctor:
I spent over 6 years training to be a doctor and you only spent an hour on the internet.
Me:
I spent over 20 years living with the symptoms.

To me it becomes a waste of time going to doctor appointments and not getting any satisfaction. But to be told that estrogen would not benefit me and would be very risky shows that the doctor has not kept up with her training. I did not search for the videos that showed up in my you tube feed. One showed exactly what happened to estradiol as it went through the liver. Another was the technique used for self injection of estradiol.
I have read articles from a horse ranch complaining about how PETA had an article completely misleading about how the horses were treated. The ranch collected pregnant mare urine to be processed into premarin. I also know that bio-identical hormones are safer.
I even got a lecture about testosterone testing needing to be done in early morning. I never did get the chance to tell her that I woke up, got dressed skipping my shower, and drove directly to the hospital where I ordered a direct access test. I would guess that I had the test within a hour of waking up, maybe closer to a half hour.

Michelle,

Here is a chart showing how various steroids are metabolized in the body. It looks complicated, but on the left side, you can see how cholesterol (bottom) and DHEAs (left) are converted into testosterone, which is then converted into estradiol (top).

I'm not sure if this is what you were looking for.

Instead of driving over an hour to get to my appointment, it only took 15 minutes. I kind of hesitate in writing this, I actually ran out of money. There was no way I could Pay for another month in that house. I spent at least a week sleeping in my car. As it turned out, my deposit covered the rent and deposit on this small studio apartment, and I think even next months rent.
I think this is going to get rid of a lot of stress. Now I can rebuild my finances, and see about getting some things taken care of.

Glad it is working out for you, Michelle.

I lived in a tent in the forest for six weeks, so I know the feeling of being between homes.

Were you able to keep your dolls and other projects you were working on? Are they in storage, or did you have to let them go? I really hope you could keep them.

Finally got my yearly CT lung scan. This time it is through the VA, at the VA clinic.

Interesting is the fact that:
2024-04-24, CORONARY ARTERY CALCIFICATION:none - Done at Meeker Memorial.
2025-05-19, CORONARY ARTERY CALCIFICATION:Severe - Done at Meeker Memorial.
2026-06-24, CORONARY ARTERY CALCIFICATION:none apparent - Done at VA clinic.

I'm not saying someone manipulated the data to get me on a statin, but 2025 was about the time the genetic predisposition to high cholesterol showed up in my records, without a genetic test being done. I doubt very much that 6 months on 5 mg of Rosuvastatin would reduce it from severe to none.
I still have mild emphysema listed and this time a pulmonologist has been referred.
Michelle

Just a thought that the doctor had access to the 2025-05-19 lung scan, CORONARY ARTERY CALCIFICATION:Severe. But not to the later 2026 lung scan done at the VA. And denied my estradiol based on the scan showing severe calcification.

I did a free genetic test:

Someone once stated that once wrong information gets into your records, it is difficult to remove it.

Someone once stated that once wrong information gets into your records, it is difficult to remove it.

This is true, especially with VA medical records.
I went to the emergency room and was diagnosed with diplopia (double vision). I was evaluated by several eye doctors after it resolved. It remains in my records.

The reason is medical history, where they can say, "Oh, look, you had this three years ago; maybe it is a recurring problem." In that case, the information is valuable.

But as you stated, if the diagnosis was wrong, it remains even after the issue was corrected.

Finally today I sent my new address to my sister. The property manager asked why I had not moved in with my sister, I told him I never asked and she never offered. Just a reminder, she did not treat me very well when we were growing up.

Dunwoody, after graduation I could not get a job due to my draft status. I enlisted and was nowhere near any place where I could advance what I learned at Dunwoody. I graduated back in about 1970, and they are still sending me requests for donations.
I went on the website to change my address, and they had a requirement for email address and phone number. that was besides the fact the are using my old name. I did not update my information, and now thinking I should use their comment section to notify them about my situation.

After getting out of active duty I considered buying a farm, and I got told I needed to have experience for the 2 years prior to the loan. Apparently the 18 years living on a dairy farm did not count.

My displays are individual boxes, each individual box can be lifted, tilted back and transported with the contents in them. They are now along a wall in my storage unit. I just carried the box to where I wanted it, tilted it back upright, re-stacked the boxes and straightened the contents. I had done that purposely to allow for transporting, when I was still living on the farm. I ended up with three storage units, two since moving off the farm.

Glad you still have them, Michelle.

I mentioned my bears. My mistake, they are Harley pigs.

I found this after my move. I thought it unique. It is four white board magnets that just happened to arrange that way.

I was just thinking about my HO scale trains. I wanted to do a 1950s-1960s era as that was when I grew up. In my home town it was the Great Northern Railway. The engines were F units. I started getting the F-units in HO scale, it didn't matter about the road name as I was going to repaint to the GN. I was getting paints and air brush supplies, and planned on doing some practice painting. Falling and breaking both wrists put everything on hold, with no way of knowing when I would be able to use the air brush.
I'm now thinking that project is way down on my project list. I'm also thinking I should see a project through to the end before starting another project.

I found a set of speakers that had been separated for awhile, one in one storage unit, the other in the other storage unit. One had a speaker terminal plate installed, the other plate still in the package. As long as I have all the items in one place, I will finish getting the terminal plates installed correctly, soldering the wires in place and put both speakers in the same storage unit.

It might seem to be an obsession, but I seem to want my dolls to have things in their scale. That is why my Captain Action has his own model trains (in Z scale). It's Like he has his own Lionel trains.

That is awesome, Michelle!

I love it.

Getting settled in this apartment. Way smaller than the house I was living in. Now I drive to the laundromat, today I found out Canadian Quarters do not work in the washing machine. It somehow got mixed in with my regular(U.S.) quarters. I had some paper money from out of my dad's safe. There were some confederate bills under the others. I figured they were fake since I had bought them back in the 1960s and they had disappeared shortly after. At the time it didn't help to complain since I would get asked if I was sure that I had them in the first place, as if I just imagined that I had them.

Currently using my laptop on a folding table, and finding out most of my photos are still in the desktop computer. I forgot to grab the cords when I got my desktop from the storage unit.

Finally got my inhaler. I did have the nebulizer machine, with an air pump and hoses. Thinking for now to store the nebulizer in the storage unit. The inhaler has been used a couple of times while in a store.

One problem is I have to drive about 40 miles to get to my storage unit, then figure out which one has the belongings I want to pick up and bring to my apartment.

By the time I logged in yesterday I had forgotten what I wanted to say. I wanted to mention a few things I have seen since moving in.

On one corner only once did I see someone with a sign that read "Trans women are men". Not really worth much concern since it was only one person, and not worth any confrontation, since he might use the "persecution proves I'm right" excuse. To save fave the person might double down looking for any proof the he is right. Besides, I was on the street in my car.
Waiting to turn onto a street, I saw a vehicle with a flag that read "Trump 2028". To me that was absolutely crazy, since the Constitution bans a third term for the presidency. To buy such a flag would mean believing a third term is possible. Then I thought about the manufacturing of the flag, wondering about his belief. Now I think the flag was manufactured to take advantage of and sell to the gullible people.
The laundromat has two restrooms, both are single use. one has the women's emblem, the other has the men's emblem. On the women's, a paper sign has been added that reads "women only", the men's has a paper sign that reads "men only". It might be that there was some confusion not knowing what the emblems were actually showing. If I am wearing a dress then do I only use the one with the dress emblem, and if not wearing a dress, use the one without the dress emblem. And a last thought, if one is men only and the other is women only, then where do the children go?
