Quote from: Billiefromorygon on Yesterday at 08:34:41 PMI dont know much about what these levels mean but this is my last levels check.

If someone understands this feel free to explain to me better than my nurse practioner did

My last results are

estradiol
My last level was 121 pg/ml

total testosterone MS (using Mass Spectrometry)
My last level was 20 ng/dl

Normal mens values are

Estradiol
Normal value: < OR = 39 pg/mL
Testosterone
normal value is 250-1100 ng/dl

What is it that you want to know that the NP couldn't or didn't explain?
Keep in mind that none of us are doctors, and we won't give medical advice about where your levels should be or what is normal. That information must come from your provider. The reason is that we do not know your medical history.

However, I can tell you that WPATH Guidelines indicate that your provider's goal is to get your levels into the normal female range (for MtF). If you want to know what those ranges are, Dr. Google is your friend.

There is a huge amount of info out there including the WPATH guidelines that incidentally the UK NHS trusts have nicely formatted into prescribing in testing guides. The only thing is in the UK we seem to use different units for measurements!

There are also loads of research papers out there which are very interesting to read. I'd recommend spending time going through these at least to understand what's happening to your body and the methods your provider are using on your hrt regime.

In addition you can then ask informed questions or request changes if you feel something is off. And if you're like me you just find this stuff extremely interesting. However be prepared to find conflicting information. Even in the profession there are discrepancies and studies of varying quality. WPATH is the main guide but some providers target different parts of the ranges!
